A very nice small boutique resort. The rooms are very spacious and the staff is exceedingly polite and helpful. The resort property itself is quite small but sufficient if you only plan on sleeping there. The pool was very well maintained and clean. We found the food to be a bit lacking. The breakfast was cold on both the days that we stayed there and overall the food prices were on the expensive side as compared to other places to goa. It is a good hotel to stay in if you are unwilling to spend a lot and the rooms definitely make it worthwhile.
Had a comfortable stay in June for a night. We had booked the two bedroom as we were four of us. The only setback was the shared bathroom. But that very well got compensated with a fairly decent balcony and fabulous hospitality of the staff at the resort. Special mention to the manager as well as Rex, who was interning at the time we were there. He ensured we had a good stay and we almost felt like he was our personal butler. So if you're going anytime soon, just hope he's around as he's good with what he does. We never got around to try the spa, but I am certain with the prices and overall look of the place, it will be worth a mention! Thank you for a great time and look forward to coming back.
We drove into Goa last evening without any reservation but with an intent to find a place at Colva. Luckily for us Mr. Puneet ( the GM ) was at the reception when we reached. The room was clean,, comfortable, well appointed and fairly spacious. Definitely value for money. The dinner we had was probably the best we have ever eaten in Goa. Crabs , calamari and fish all cooked in Portuguese /Goan style and eaten with Poi and rice. They were attentive to our every wish and desire - from sending out someone to pickup a bottle of Honey Bee ( not on the bar menu ) to serving us Poi and Bacon ( along with the rest of the buffet breakfast) at breakfast the next morning. Mr. Puneet, Mr. Roy and the rest of the team are all friendly, helpful and truly keep their customer first. . Overall a great find and i expect we will come back again.
We visited with family for a week. This was our fourth trip to Goa and every time we have visited Goa, we have stayed in Soul Vacation. Its beautiful, the staff is cordial, food is amazing and very reasonable. Its close to beach so one can just walk and enjoy the small village of colva. The gym is well equipped and spa offers some great service. Value for money and definitely enriches Soul 😊
I stayed in a group with my friends and I can easily say on everybody's behalf that we all enjoyed our time. About the place, its a good place to stay in central part of Goa and certainly one of the best in Colva. Its just 500 mtrs from the Colva beach through Colva Beach Circle. Direct connection to beach from resort would have increased its value. Besides that, lack of parking space is the serious problem one may encounter if traveling through car. There are just 5-6 car parking along side Resort's Main wall. Best part of the resort was their buffet breakfast. It was AWESOME ! On Al carte meal, they should improve on menu items and also should revise their rates to lower side. Their kitchen closes at 11pm which we found a bit early to close for place such as Goa ! We had 2 family rooms which were very spacious, clean and much better then our expectations. But they should improve on their Television Units, different rooms were having different kind of TV sets, some were having LED, some were having OLD CRT tube based and even few of them were having Desktop Screen as TV. They should renovate and must have one Standard kind of TV set across all the rooms. Staff were very courteous and generous. Their Spa and Massage center is also one of the best ! Thanks for hosting us !
Friendly atmosphere.Dining options are limited in the hotel.Spa and other facilities available. Bike rental easily available nearby. Many restaurants are available nearby. The hotel is a bit costly for the services it provides. They can arrange transportation to and from the airport as well. The hotel has a pool but there are limited timings for the same. Beaches are there nearby and also an ATM and CCD.Rooms are not that as satisfactory.
Perfect holiday with my yoga friends Very friendly and helpful staff Just a 5 minute walk from the beach so one doesnot miss sunset and sunrises Comfortable clean rooms One can stay here from a peaceful holiday away from hustle bustle of beaches
We have been to Soul Vacation thrice now (since 2009). The first 2 stays have been extremely good. The ambience in the hotel has always been quite and pleasant but this time it was dull. There used to be soft music that played throughout the day which made the ambience pleasant this time it was missing. There are a few things which disappointed us this time especially the food variety, during the first 2 times the breakfast was elaborate there were variety of fruits every day this time it was only watermelon and Papaya. The Poha / upma were missing, it was always some South Indian dish along with Bhature sabji. Earlier the package included one meal along with breakfast and stay. We usually went out during the day time but came back to the hotel for dinner as the chef made awesome dinner (most guest did that).. there was buffet dinner or lunch (guest could choose either) during our earlier stay and included chicken or mutton or fish and some other vegetarian dishes. The desserts were also interesting then once there was Phirni, once there was kheer, Gulab jamun, basundi etc. This time there was brownie with ice-cream on chart where the brownie was missing and once they had Gulab Jamun. The room fresheners in the room were missing. Earlier the rooms had the air freshener machines, which kept the rooms smelling good. This time they were missing and hence at times the rooms smelled damp. The staff is extremely courteous, humble and always cheerful. Roy was extremely friendly with all the guest, he always made an effort to add newer things, he made it a point to speak to guests personally and took feedback's. “Roy thanks for expediting happy hours (which were due next month)”. Just a suggestion: To make the hotel lively again – 1 you should start the soft instrumental music again, 2. Pls consider the one meal inclusion by which the hotel restaurant will have more foot falls. 3. Try to get your old chef back (chef during May 2009 & May 2010) he made delicious food.
We stayed there during early monsoon season. This hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the Colva Circle and Colva beach. Thus, visiting the beach was easier, weather permitting. Overall the service was satisfactory. The staff (including Mr. Puneet as Manager and Mr. Roy in the cafe) were friendly and courteous. The room and surroundings were clean despite heavy rains. The luxury room was big enough to even play indoor cricket with my toddler. The food was good. The menu is not extravagant, but we still tried few options with fish & chips, salads and soups. The only disappointment was the pool as undergoing repair work which dragged on and we were able to use it only for a day (thanks to no rains).
Absolutely loved this place- from the interiors, to the food (the goan curry was soo yum), to the location( a 5 min walk to the beach) and the friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this place to others.
