We were terribly disappointed with this place. Firstly, we were given an apartment that was converted to hotel in a corner building which is so secluded that it feels like a haunted Mansion. The entire block was free and when asked for a change of room, they denied saying it was fully occupied. They do not have basic courtesy, when complained about cleanliness of the room and other amenities which were promised, they just listen to you and forget about it. You have to call the receptionist multiple times for anything. They are so annoying: we complained that there were big worms creeping into the room from trees hanging into the balcony, they said its common in a place like this and just laughed it off. Please do not get fooled by false reviews, this place is an utter waste of money. I would recommend you are better off staying in oyo rooms or other smaller places than getting robbed in this place. Oh, almost forgot, the only thing good about this place is it has a decent swimming pool.
Went to Goa for this long weekend & stayed here. The place is located perfectly in the heart of candolim where everything is at a walkable distance. The place is quite silent & you'll feel like you are the only one staying but very pleasant to stay. Usually the prices are always high for staying here but I booked through an agent so got a really nice deal. It has car parking, pool, supermarket just outside, beach closeby & everything you can ask for. Cleanliness is a bit of a problem here.
Best value for money, Nice rooms. Great food with pool and gym in campus and this my second visit and would like come again and again.Almost all site seeing venues are near by with calm and green scenery.
Excellent hotel and ideal location.very helpful staff,.But i would not suggest to book through Agoda as this is the third time i booked through agoda and no booking was forwarded by the company to the hotel.it was the helpful staff who went out of their way to help.please avoid agoda but the hotel is real comfortable with good homely food.
Excellent resort very close to Candolim beach with great service. Stayed here for 2 days, awesome food and well maintained rooms. Although not many indoor games and activities and only swimming pools. Overall good experience.
It's a cluster of 3 storied gated 2 & 3 BHK apartments converted into a hotel (not really, will know why). Visited with friends & family (14 guests) during Aug 15 long weekend. Expectations were a bit on a higher side when we booked this place online as it was a "Resort" - atleast the name said. In one word, don't expect luxury. Our homes were much better than this. Don't get me wrong. There's no problem with hygeine whatsoever or neither was it broken and rustic. It was never a hotel and could very well be marketed as holiday homes. Infact they do this on one of the banners on the road "Highland Holiday Homes". This brings me to the other part, Google maps location is incorrect. Just cross the Newton's and enter the lane besides Fisherman's Cove restaurant to get to the hotel. Although we booked for an Executive Suite, we were given Ambasador Suite for no extra cost. "We did not ask for it". So good thing is kids did not have to sleep on mattress or adults had to. However, the price is a bit on the higher side for what they had to offer. Everything from bedrooms to the baths is very basic or what we usually find in our homes. I would argue we may have better fixtures at our homes. 16k for 3 nights was not I would shell out for such a place only if I had known beforehand. Breakfast was complementary, but very basic. Again hygeine was not an issue but range of items and taste were of concern. It's definitely not continental as it says on the website. Bread butter jam Puri Bhaji uttappa omelet was served. They had kitchen to serve hot meals for lunch/dinner which is convenient if finding a place to hangout is a problem outside. However, as mentioned before it's decent but nothing you would relish dining (incl ambience.) Location is okay, while we hired bikes on the next day once we realised driving four wheeler is a problem on cramped roads and that exploring beach, shopping area, hangout joints etc. was not really that close to walk especially with kids. You will find ATMs, Grocery/Utilities store in 0.5 km radius in case you need anything. Spending mostly happens here in cash including some food joints so ensure to have enough cash. Even this hotel had no card facility at their restaurant while surprisingly they had it at the reception. Could be for tax evading reasons; not sure. Apart from a decent sized swimming pool for our families to enjoy they was nothing much that the hotel could really offer. P.S. there are no other facilities inside incl. Spa that you usually look forward to on a vacation. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who is planning a holiday well in advance as at this price point you may actually get better places to stay. But if you are out of options and need some place to crash and need decent location and crowd when travelling with families, this hotel is OK if you are not expecting luxury. One last thing I forgot to mention - ONLY 1 BEDROOM HAS WINDOW AC. Don't expect a fully air-conditioned room. both baths had small Geysers but only 1 worked. Get your own water bottle as what they serve you in is going to surprise you for sure. Room service is also ok in terms of speed.
This resort in North Goa is located at walking distance from the Candolim Beach. Calangute and Baga beach are also 10-15 minutes drive. Line of restaurants along the main road,Newton's and Delfino's are two popular supermarkets located nearby. Around 1 hour drive from Airport,40 minutes from Thivim/ Karmali railway stations. There are multiple swimming pools. However they are open only from 6 am to 6 pm. They have two restaurants and 24 hour coffee shop. Staff is a bit slow to respond I felt, one has to call out for them again and again. Food ranges from average to very good. It's your luck which dish you choose. They have a good variety of non veg, nicely prepared as well. Wifi keeps coming and going, one best works at the main restaurant near reception. Otherwise a clean ,serene property .
I booked my reservation through Booking.com, and they provided a relatively good price at Rs.1900/ day during this off season. The picture on the net looked good at par with Hyatt candolim which was available at around Rs.4,500 per day. Location of this hotel his certainly better than Hyatt, with shops and eateries all around. Only after reaching the venue we realized that I had booked for accommodation run by private third party operator and not by the hotel. So the hotel/resort repudiated all responsibilities, and asked me to talk to the private party owner regarding the issue in the room The room was very good, the linens were good. The large apartment complex was very well kept, smwimming pools etc. But the issue was as follows: we checked into the room to find that it smelled of a room closed for days, so people with dust allergy will have a very bad time there. My spouse sneezed five times immediately. Then the refrigerator was not clean with fungus all around... and it was not operating!!!! We called the caretaker of the third party who gave us the keys to the room, he wanted me to call the manager - Shiva. Shiva was quite professional and tried to provide all help, and provided us other options. However, running the AC continuously helped getting over with the dust problem. We ignored the refrigerator problem. Overall shiva and his team of people did a very good job of restoring satifaction, albeit the fixing of the refrigerator problem. But it was a relatively good stay compared to Hyatt - I went to Hyatt to see my parents and brother's family, their rooms were reeking of dust...
Worst place to be unprofessional staff. Don't even to how to do their in a sense had stayed for 5nights housekeeping staff came for cleaning and shattered my phone and then manager says it happened just by accident and offers 2k for 24000 device. Food quality need to be improved no parking space available no charging slots in the rooms untidy rooms
Had a fantastic stay in the highland beach - this was a private apartment & had everything we needed with newly refurbished bathrooms & memory foam mattresses - an added bonus was the washing machine Will definitely be back in November
