Avoid!

Hotel is very tired. Bedrooms definitely in need of a refurb! Evening meal was awful. Avoid the salmon obviously all microwaved. I expect more from a hotel especially at £230 for bed, breakfast and evening meal on a Tuesday. Your local Wetherspoons will offer better quality food. We gave breakfast a miss and opted for a McMuffin down the road. A coach arrived when we were there so and assuming it’s a hotel used for coach breaks to Cheltenham or the Cotswolds. In all honest I would recommend you avoid. We will not be returning.

The food was impeccable. All the staff were so helpful, even helping my old dad to use the small lift as he couldn’t walk upstairs. Would highly recommend.

Weekend visit, comfortable bed and pillows, lovely surroundings, but the lady on reception on friday/ Saturday was so welcoming, went above and beyond, what an embasadore for your hotel.

The hotel and staff were fabulous. The food was delicious and our room couldn’t have been cleaner, but we were above the foyer toilet and had to endure every flush, hand wash and hand dryer - which got annoying. We’d definitely stay again but would ensure it was in a different room.

We had an amazing weekend as our daughter got married here, staff were attentive and so helpful. The breakfast was really good with loads of choices, the only negative was that the rooms were so hot but they did provide a fan (no aircon)
