This place was beyond expectations. Was a beautiful setting with gorgeous New England scenery, clean quiet and easy walking to shops, galleries, restaurants. Accessing the local stores like grocery, drug store, liquor store etc. via car was only a 5 minute drive. The hosts were an extremely nice couple, very helpful as necessary, but not intrusive at all. This place offers you the ability to stay put and just relax taking in the beautiful yard and views or it’s also easy enough to get out and see the many beautiful sights of the Gloucester area. Your choice, and in our case mostly staying put was a better option for us, so we were grateful for the surroundings and the serenity provided. I have zero negatives about this place, the only thing you may want to be aware of is the parking situation. Ultimately, there was always convenient parking available for us, but it may occasionally take some jockeying for position.

We had a really wonderful stay here in Gloucester! The place was as described and the property is beautiful. A great place to relax and unwind. Our nine year old loved playing with Penny the dog and exploring the shoreline. So fun to watch the impressive tides. Mary was a terrific host and everything was clear and easy. We hope to come back soon!
