Spacious bedrooms with a Jacuzzi bathtub! Good quality and variety of fresh produce for breakfast. Plenty of on site and off site free parking if you have a hire car to explore catalonia. Beware the hotel is a 15 minute walk from the city centre. bear this in mind if you are going to eat and drink a lot for dinner!
Rooms are clean and spacious with each one having a terrace. Located just 1 km from the center of town it is an enjoyable walk to it where you will find shops, restaurants and museums. A great restaurant, El Motel, is located in the hotel and definitely worth enjoying dinner there. Staff is friendly and accommodating.
This is a very conveniently situated hotel in order to visit Figueres. It has ample parking and a short walk to the town. The room is well equipped. The restaurant is top class. The staff are all very charming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here en route from Southern France to the Spanish coast near Valencia.
This hotel is convenient for one night if travelling onwards (passing Figures). Staff was friendly but the decor is dated, looking like it's been the same since 1982. The art is somewhat modern and out there - not at all matching the decor. The rooms are ok and beds are comfortable. AC worked as it should. Sort of pricey for what you're getting. I'd say it's ok but not more than that.
everybody were very nice to us, bed is super comfotable with a lot of pillows, private jacuzzi in your bathtube. Food delicous as well.We had really great time, walking to museum de Dali is around 15 min.
We have been there for an night with our 3 children. Most of the staff is very friendly . In our opion this Hotel needs a little update. This Hotel is already 50 years old and so it looks in the inside. the rooms are very clean and large , the bathroom has an jacuzzi . They better renovate the bathrooms and install a good shower! The breakfast is perfect. I think the price is to high for this Hotel . After renovation it is !!
Large room with jacuzzi bath in the bathroom, all facilities and the advantage of a garage (or easy free parking) and a good restaurant in the hotel. Nice welcome, quiet room as requested, great breakfast (but unsmiling waiter). A good stay as usual.
All this place needs is a swimming pool, new AC in Summer and maybe a way to keep the mosquitoes away from the restaurant's terrace. Otherwise we had an amazing dinner there (not cheap for Spain) and even more impressive breakfast (included in our rate). The rooms are kept in the original 1962 style but well maintained and cute. They are large and our suite had fun amenities like a jacuzzi.
We stayed at this hotel on our way to Barcelona. Although Figueres is a small town, this hotel is far from the town centre on foot (at least 20 minute walk). We had booked a suite (which was obviously the most expensive room) and the hotel staff had confirmed that they would be preparing an extra bed for the child free of charge. The extra bed was placed in a separate room (because the suite was more like an apartment rather than a hotel room). It didn't work out for us. Half of the 'suite' was cold because the heaters were not working whilst the most of the furniture and decorations are a bit run down. TV Channels were mainly all in Spanish. Upon check out out, we found out that we were charged for the kid's breakfast (6.50 Euro) but more seriously was the fact that we were charged (5 Euro) for the 2 small glasses of milk I asked the restaurant staff the night before. Never was I charged (from any hotel in the world) for some warm milk for the infants to get them to sleep. We found this preposterous. On the other hand, the breakfast was excellent with a good selection of local cheeses and sausage. Very nice. The gentleman at the breakfast was also so polite and helpful. The hotel, although far from the town centre is very close to the highway and offers free (not secure) parking. Not real value for money.
A four star hotel on the outskirts of Figuresthat has everything you need apart from tea/coffee making facilities. The room I stayed in was spacious, comfortable with an excellent bathroom. TV in the room but only English Channel was BBC world news as well as that they provide a mini bar with the usual outrageous prices. Staff are attentive and helpful but did find them a bit abrupt at times. Food was good but pricey and being a meat and two veg type of oink found the presentation poncy and lacking in substance but please don't read anything into that as I didn't leave hungry. All in all a good hotel but wouldn't bust a gut to come back
