This was a gorgeous flat in a quiet location with amazing views of the mountains and exclusive use of the pool which we enjoyed massively. Communication with the host was excellent.All in all this was an amazing property to stay in and one we would go back to in a heartbeat!

Excellent from start to finish.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted with an excellent welcome pack until the morning we left 12 days later we had a wonderful time. Excellent hosts who are close by but never intrusive. Wonderful Facilities, swimming pool is amazing and is attached to a great terrace with wonderful views of the area.

The perfect holiday

The hosts were absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful! Everything was fresh and clean, the apartment was very comfortable and private, even the welcome pack we got was lovely! The apartment had all the amenities we needed like a lovely kitchen, a dishwasher & washing machine, and even access to a heated indoor pool! The location of the apartment is perfect, with amazing views of the mountains and nature while still being very close to the town centre (Quillan). My partner and I have visited the area before, but this time there were new restaurants and bars in town which made our stay even more enjoyable. The town market which is on twice a week was also such a treat, very lively with lots of various stalls where you can find local, fresh produce as well as souvenirs of all kinds. One of the most relaxing holidays we’ve had, thank you Liz & Al!

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend the place. This beautiful apartment was very well equipped with some thoughtful attention to detail, including a welcome hamper of treats which awaited us on our arrival. The bed was comfortable and all linen was provided, including towels. It was wonderful to relax in our own private, heated indoor pool and enjoy a glass or two of wine on our terrace whilst soaking up the stunning mountain views. We left feeling rested and rejuvenated, as though we’d stayed in a retreat and stepped out of the world. When faced with a slight problem of not being able to find some required kitchen utensils, we contacted the owners and it was quickly resolved. We will definitely return. Absolutely fantastic value for money!

Countryside retreat

From start to finish this was one of our most liked holiday stays, the apartment was delightful snd really well equipped, comfortable seating, comfortable bed ( choice of 2) 1 ensuite Kitchen ss good as at home, The hostscould not have been more helpful or nice One of the main attractions for us was the exclusive use of the swimming pool heated to 27degs was a great way of cooling off after a day of 38 degs outside the views across the valley's wer fantastis with the occasional view of some huge birds agaist the clff sides ( I'm told these are viltures with a wingspan of over 3 metrespool( the whole area was fillof pretty little villages and the nearby river with all its sporting adventures available canoeing rafting etc its a great place positioned well. well after

Heated indoor pool and friendly welcome from onsite hosts.

Arrived tired, cold and damp, following long drive on rainy and unseasonably cold day. Greeted with friendly hosts who showed us around cosy apartment with log fire blazing. All seemed bigger than online photos. Well stocked kitchen and welcome pack of various treats, including local speciality of Limoux. Everywhere beautifully clean. Soon settled in, ready to explore our beautiful rooms with comfortable beds, soft bedding, and well-chosen furniture both modern and antique, all harmonising perfectly in this mountain apartment. An added touch were the fresh flowers everywhere. We came to relax, and relax we did! Cleaning is included for end of holiday, and no book of 'rules'! Liz and Alan are the best of hosts, and help their guests enjoy their holiday to the full. We had a well heated pool to enjoy whenever we wished, a balcony to relax on, sofas and blankets to curl up with to read by the log fire, or sun loungers to doze on, or to watch clouds go by and perhaps see a vulture or an eagle riding the thermals. Views from balcony are wonderful, impossible to capture effectively on camera. Atmosphere of peace and calm, with birdsong, fresh clear air, and views that change dramatically with weather and time of day. These will live on in our memory. Lucky Alan and Liz to live here and to enjoy these sights every day. They are truly wonderful hosts, discrete, thoughtful, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you for making our holiday such a wonderful experience.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cet appartement avec piscine intérieure à proximité de Quillan. L’appartement est très bien équipé, il ne manque absolument rien : produits de douche, d’entretien, épices… tout est pensé pour faciliter la vie des voyageurs. Une attention particulière a été portée pour notre bébé, avec des produits adaptés et un lit bébé mis à disposition, ce qui a été grandement apprécié.La vue est splendide, que ce soit depuis la terrasse ou depuis la piscine. Les hôtes ont été particulièrement gentils et accueillants, rendant notre séjour encore plus agréable.Nous reviendrons sans hésitation, et très certainement en hiver, afin de profiter pleinement de la piscine intérieure chauffée, du poêle à bois et de la proximité des stations de ski.Un grand merci pour cette belle expérience !A bientôt !

Se réveiller avec une vue sur les Pyrénées

Cet appartement est situé dans un charmant petit village et offre une vue directe sur une partie des Pyrénées. Il dispose d'une piscine intérieure privée et chauffée, dans laquelle nos enfants ont adoré sauter à tout moment. Les environs offrent de nombreuses activités, comme des lacs, des randonnées, et même un musée des dinosaures pour les enfants. La magnifique ville médiévale de Carcassonne ainsi que la côte méditerranéenne ne sont pas loin. Enfin, et surtout, Alan et Liz sont des hôtes formidables et incroyablement serviables. Ils ont proposé à nos enfants de les aider à nourrir leurs six chats, nous ont donné plein de conseils utiles et ont répondu immédiatement à toutes nos demandes. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour ici et ne pouvons que le recommander !

Très agréable séjour

Séjour impeccable. Alan et Liz, nos hôtes, nous ont très aimablement reçus, ils sont formidables. L'appartement est joliment décoré et fonctionnel, la piscine impeccable et à température idéale. L'appartement est très calme, Ginoles aussi. Nous avons fait de belles promenades à vélo et notre chien a apprécié aussi la nature environnante. Les châteaux cathares et toutes les merveilles de l'Aude sont à proximité et je recommande également le marché d' Espéraza (énorme!)

Wundervoller Aufenthalt in Ginoles

Wir durften für eine Woche zu Gast bei Liz und Alan sein, die uns sehr herzlich empfangen und jederzeit hilfreich zur Seite gestanden haben. Bei Ankunft fanden wir zur Begrüßung einen großen Korb mit exklusiven lokalen Produkten vor. Die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen, sehr komfortabel eingerichtet, sehr sauber und verfügt über eine umfangreiche Ausstattung. Hervorzuheben ist der sehr große Pool, der zur alleinigen Benutzung zur Verfügung steht. Besondere Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung sind Carcassonne sowie eine Fahrt mit dem Train Rouge von Axat aus. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten findet man in Quillan. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in Ginoles und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen. Vielen Dank an Liz und Alan. We had the pleasure of staying for a week with Liz and Alan, who gave us a very warm welcome and were always helpful. On arrival we were greeted with a large basket of exclusive local produce. The flat is in a quiet location, very comfortably furnished, very clean and has extensive facilities. The very large pool, which is available for exclusive use, deserves special mention. Special excursion destinations in the area are Carcassonne and a ride on the Train Rouge from Axat. Shopping facilities can be found in Quillan. We had a very enjoyable week in Ginoles and would love to return anytime. Many thanks to Liz and Alan.

Magnifique Séjour

La maison est conforme à la description. Nous sommes ravis par la mise à disposition de tonnes d’accessoires de piscines, mais aussi dans le logement, consommables (café, sucre, thé, épices… etc) , bien plus qu’il n’en faut. Les lits sont confortables, la piscine chauffée est plus grande que ce que laisse paraître les photos. Alan et Liz sont très agréables, discret, des personnes adorables qui sont vraiment au petit soin au vue de l’équipement de la maison, et aussi de leur cadeau de bienvenue (que je ne détaillerai pas ici pour laisser la surprise). Au niveau de la localisation, la maison est facile à trouver au bout de l’impasse, située dans un petit village calme, mais avec supermarché à 10min. Je recommande
