Gite With Private Pool And Vineyard Views on Canal du Midi

Constantia is a traditional ivy-covered property overlooking the Canal du Midi. There are four excellent canal side restaurants in Somail, a supermarket is just 2kms away, the lovely old town of Narbonne 13kms, and the Mediterranean beaches 26kms. Le Somail is a perfect location from which to explore this fascinating region. A wooden staircase leads from the entrance hall up to the accommodation, which has a two bedrooms, one with en-suite. The accommodation is all on the first floor with an unused wine storage facility below. There is a magnificent split-level open plan living area with traditional beamed ceiling and windows on three sides. The well-equipped kitchen has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob. French windows open onto the roof terrace with barbecue, garden furniture and views across the vineyards. The owner's daughter is next door so help and advice is always available.
The vacation home is heated and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a private pool, a washing machine, and a coffee maker.
