Great place! The sea view is amazing, and there’s a very good spot to enter the water. The restaurant has a beautiful view, and it’s very close to the sunset point. The accommodation is nice and very comfortable, and the staff is wonderful — very friendly and helpful. The only point is that the cleanliness could be improved a little. We had a good sized room overlooking the poolarea. The bathroom was a little worn out. The hotel restaurant was across the street by the water. They served a nice selection of set breakfasts and at night they had a delicious bbq and also an a la carte menu.

There were times where after some food on the beach I wanted to escape the heat and my private pool with some Bintangs from the mini bar were just what I needed! Our family really enjoyed our stay at Scallywags in two adjoining garden villa rooms. Although the hotel is close to the busy part of the island we didn't hear a thing from the rooms. The food at the restaurant was great, as was the service from the staff. Was very easy to lie on the beach out the front of the hotel and to swim with the turtles as they floated past. Highly recommended.

Such a good hotel for its price. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are very friendly. It’s also only a short walk from the port to get in and out of Gili by boat. They can improve on the cleanliness, but all in all, it’s a fitting quality for the price. Would stay here again!
