Holiday Home in Inndyr

A magnificent holiday cottage by the sea with boat included in the price, 7 km south of the village Inndyr. The municipality of Glideskål is known for its scenic coastal landscape and the cottage and the terrace has an impressive view of the sea, islands and stunning mountains. When the midnight sun shines 24 hours during clear spring and summer days, sit up all night and enjoy the scenery. Also in the dark winter, this place is great to visit when Northern Lights are colourfully moving across the clear sky. The area has many holiday cottages but our house sits on a small hill secluded from the others. The house is of high standards with integrated dishwasher, electric hotplates and integrated fridge and freezer. Fireplace in the living room. A large detached outdoors terrace with jacuzzi and fireplace with seating. 500 meters to eatery and kiosk with a limited selection of groceries for sale. 7 km to Inndyr with grocery store and restaurant. The sea has good fishing conditions. A 14 ft Yamarin boat with 25 hp motor with life jackets is included in the rent. The boat is tied to a floating dock right by. BOAT IS ONLY AVAILABLE BETWEEN MAY 1ST AND OCTOBER 1ST. There is plenty of crab and mackerel in the sea. A fish cleaning table is installed. The area has several fishing lakes and lovely hiking trails for the whole family. It is a great starting point for excursions to e.g. the Svartisen, Norway's second largest glacier. To the north you will find Saltstraumen, the world's most powerful tidal current. The strait here is rich with fish and suitable for inshore fishing, or you can rent boats from the Sea Sport Center. 90 km to Bodø, Northern Norway's second largest city with several shopping centers and sights. Its Aviation Museum is worth a visit. Direct flights between Bodø and Oslo several times a day. From Bodø you can go on day excursions by car-ferry to Lofoten and the islands Værøy and Røst.
