It’s cheap & ….cheerful? Clean, and seems to have been spruced up recently, but the rooms show wear & tear. The first room we were in had a malfunctioning tv box. The staff person on duty knew less about how to fix it than we did. He couldn’t find the power button. He changed us to a different room with functioning tv. Room was larger, furnishings notably more worn, and a bit chilly. We realized we had to turn on the heat. Then Realized the room wasn’t warming up bc the lone radiator was covered by one of the two beds. Had to shift the bed away from the wall so the heat wouldn’t get trapped between the headboard and the wall. Neither room looked like the rooms in the photos on Expedia or the hotel web site. Bathrooms in both room clearly not renovated, show wear & tear. If the goal is proximity to ferry terminal, its fine. Its clean, safe, has kitchenette. If I wanted a getaway I’d book elsewhere.

It was very noisy with other guests. When I contacted the front desk it was late at night and I was told to be patient and things would settle down. The beds were comfortable but the rooms are outdated and could use upgrading.

They accommodated me to an upgraded room when the heater started ticking. Although the upgrades in the room missed a few more dated pieces, it still was comfy, cozy and a lovely little stay. The pool was cleaned despite it being cold and rainy.
