A Pearl at the Biskaya Coast

Great accomodation between San Sebastian and Bilbao at the wonderful coast of Euscadi, facing the Biscaya Bay, surrounded by vineyards and a lovely countryside with only a 40 minutes walk to the coast, to the beautiful port, beach and city of Getaria. Ideal place for relaxing and inspiring autumn holidays and for trips to all the sights of the Basque Country.

The Basque hospitality

Javier has been an amazing host, with lots of attention from the minute we arrived. The house is great with a wonderful Seaview, and everything you might need for a few days of chill in Basque Country. Javier's advices on where to go have been precious and we will surely come back !100% must visit.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa, just a 15-minute drive from the center of San Sebastián. The home is set in a stunning countryside location with rolling green hills, vineyards, and breathtaking ocean views — truly picturesque.The location was perfect for exploring not only San Sebastián but also Bilbao and several charming nearby towns.The villa itself is beautifully decorated with stylish furniture and cozy touches throughout. We especially loved the collection of coffee table books that provided great inspiration and local tips on scenic spots, museums, and sculpture gardens.The host was incredibly welcoming and generous with his time — he showed us around the property and was always available to answer questions or offer recommendations.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and well-located home base in the Basque Country!

Todo lo encontramos estupendo: lo mejor, sin duda, Javier, el anfitrión, que hizo que nuestro fin de semana en familia fuera fenomenal. También la casa, por fuera preciosa y por dentro muy bien decorada, cómoda y confortable, las camas, la ropa de casa, el menaje, el equipamiento, la temperatura, la limpieza... y la ubicación, con unas vistas preciosísimas, nos han hecho pensar que altamira es una casa muy muy recomendable para pasar unos días estupendos

He pasado nueve días con mi familia (un total de 9 personas) en esta casa y ha sido una gran experiencia. La casa es muy bonita y muy cómoda, dispone de todo lo necesario para unos días de vacaciones, está en un lugar fantástico, con vistas al mar donde puedes disfrutar de unas puestas de sol inolvidables.
