The only disappointment was that the roof (we were on the top floor) made a terrible noise. Although it was raining, the noise did not come from that. You could not hear the noise from the outside. From the inside the noise was continuous, and sounded as though the steel work was under stress. We left the property at 2.00am as we feared that something might go wrong.

Needs to have a doorbell by the gate else you either have to hoot or call the person like I did. The bed was a bit too firm for my boyfriend and I. The room was very nice and modern.

Avo and Oak

I had a beautiful room with contemporary decor. The host Madelaine was friendly and book in was hassle . Parking was safe and easily accessible with a remote for afterhours access. The accomodation is situated close to the cbd, but in a pleasant leafy suburb. The room had its own bar fridge and plentiful tea snd coffee with kettle and the necessary utensils. Free wi fi was available with a router in the room. The television was conveniently wall mounte and of good quality with a range of dstv channels. The bathroom was excellent being spacious and having a full showeroom, with plentiful towels.The bed was comfortable with premium linen. I spent a week in George on business and Avo and Oak provided a great base with comfortable accomodation . I will definitely be staying there again.
