Front desk was easy checkin and we were provided detailed description of places to see locally while visiting and info on the hotel. Location was perfect. Great location. Great historic hotel. Rooms have very high ceilings and look great. Recently renovated. My only concern: Housekeeping left their cart outside my door and used it as staging area. Noisy. I asked them to move it, and it was moved for about 12 hours, and then returned. I've never seen a hotel (must less a 5 star) leave the housekeeping cart and dirty linen bins in the hallways 24 hours a day. Also, I was on the 2nd floor. Dining is on the same floor. One night they had a private reception, and overflow chairs for sitting in the hotel hallway. So, the reception area spilled over to the hallway to rooms. Ask them not to put you on the 2nd floor.
