Situated in the historic quarter, makes it easy to explore from here. Loving classical architecture, it was a big wow walking into the hotel. We were warmly greeted and the cantilever staircase elicited my wows. This is a classical building so every turn is filled with delight. Chandeliers that look Murano made, art works, stained glass Windows, cornices......Our room was spacious and elegant with comfortable bed, clean and inviting. The bathroom is dated but clean and in this classical setting perfectly acceptable. Breakfast proved delightful in an elegant chandeliered salon. Plenty of choice, from cooked to continental. I was impressed with a selection of gluten free goodies. We would love to stay here again. Perfect as a pre cruise stay and longer.
We spent an enjoyable 4 days and 5 nights at this beautiful, elegant hotel which truly deserves the title of 'Palace', though without palace-like prices! We could have stayed there much longer. Aside from the overall elegance of this splendidly furnished and decorated hotel, the room was clean and comdortable, and the location was ideal with respect to all the major sites, which were within easy walking distance. Breakfast was superb every day in terms of quality and variety. The staff were all helpful and efficient in every instance. Perhaps they could have demonstrated a bit more warmth but in all fairness, they were very busy during the time we were there. We would definitely go back without hesitstion!
Great hotel in excellent location, next to all the places you probably want to see in Genoa.. Staff are excellent. Rooms very nice. Quiet rooms. Well maintained and beautiful common area's. Great breakfast.
Hotel Bristol Palace is an excellent choice in Genoa. This is an elegant hotel at a reasonable price. (Note: we were visiting in November-off season.) About a 15 Euros taxi ride from the train station, the hotel is in the heart of the shopping district and a short walk from the old walled city. They had a high attention to detail. Their attentiveness to cleanliness was noticeable. The remote was in a sealed bag, the convenience products were also sealed. They had a turn-down service, complete with candies and room slippers. The room had a chandelier. The walls and ceiling had multiple moldings with five different colors detailing the walls, ceiling, and moldings. From the check-in desk a glance upward reveals oval staircases up six floors with the domed stained glass window at the top The lobby had antique furniture. Beautiful!! Breakfast was included. This is our ninth day in Europe and most of our hotels provided breakfast. Bristol Hotel’s breakfast was the best of the nine.
We stayed or one night and day in Genoa in transit and picked this Hotel because of its restaurant reviews. The location is fantastic, right next to Ferrari square. the internal decor is superb, in empire style. The room was excellent and the bathroom had evidently been recently renovated with very good taste. Nice little bar for pre-dinner drinks and an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was good. Make sure you get a room well away from the service centre - the sound proofing is Italian.
Room 535 :honest . The situation in the city (close to shopping spots ,opera ,restaurants ... ) is SO GOOD you forget the very average quality of the so called superior room .Breakfast in the room is very disappointing BUT beds are very good . The hotel has a warm atmosphere and makes you feel good . Finally ,WE LIKED IT and will come back ;;;in a deluxe room as the prices are reasonable .
A very nice hotel, which despite its central location is extremely quiet. Two things I particularly appreciated: the ample breakfast included fresh green salads, and coffee-making facilities in the room.
Just returned from a business trip to Genova and stayed in this lovely hotel. The decor is beautiful and people at reception very friendly. The room however was very outdated and musty. The mattress was super uncomfortable as it was hard and you could see the spirals when just looking at the thing. For people who use a shower to wake up; please be cautious as there is hot water for a short period of time only. Breakfast was super nice! Location is ideal - 20 mins by taxi to airport and close by all the sights.
We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful hotel, it's in the center of town and nearby waterfront. Our room was beautiful and the staircase is so pretty and amazing. The staff at reception is friendly and very helpful. Giovanni was the best!! Thank you for a wonderful visit.
Only had one night here but it was like being in paradise. My room was enormous and so beautiful, a special treat was having the bed turnef down. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff lovely. Very centrally located.
