Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the historic David Walley’s Resort is a rustic mountain lodge that’ll be your warm and cozy retreat from all the nearby fun. After a day of adventuring, soak in one of five famed hot springs, just like the pioneers did, or sit back and relax with a drink at our 1862 Restaurant & Saloon Bar. Add in the scenic mountain views and you’ll feel like you’ve struck gold.
Back in the 1800s, visitors to Genoa (the oldest town in Nevada) were brave frontier settlers in search of gold. Today, there’s still tons of exploring for families to do with the slopes of Heavenly Ski Resort nearby, the casinos of Reno an hour north, and hiking, bike trails, and mineral hot springs just steps away.
