Stayed at this hotel as part of our Newmarket coach holiday to see Andre Rieu concert at Maastricht. Excellent hotel with very helpful and courteous staff. Excellent choice at breakfast. Clean and tidy spacious rooms.
We stopped overnight here after roadworks made it impossible to get to Belgium at a decent time. A really nice hotel close to the main road so very convenient. The reception staff were very welcoming and had lots of information to give us. We stayed in a family room which was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms could do with a little updating but they weren't too bad. Nice swimming pool too. We didn't eat here but popped into the nearby town for breakfast. There is also a McDonald's across the road
Stopped here for 1 night having found it impossible to navigate around road works in Eindhoven. It wasn't busy and the hotel is a bit tired, but it is very close to a junction and there is bar food available. The room was large and a little tired, but there was a comfortable bed and good bedlinen and furnished adequately. Free wifi. There is quite a decent pub/restaurant very close. I am a fan of NH Hotels and this one is a little tired but perfectly acceptable. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. There is water available in reception area, and I think there was an ice machine. We weren't expecting a huge breakfast but the breakfast choice was truly amazing and excellent quality. There was even a facility to make your own omelette/frittata with a selection of fresh vegetables. Huge selection of breads and pastries, meat and cheeses, prepared fruit, yoghurt, juices, cereals, tea, coffee, toasting facilities, yoghurt, spreads and butters and jams. There was also a good selection of unpeeled fruit. I would stay there again though unfortunately it is a stopover hotel rather than a destination hotel.
There were two double beds, with pristine white linen, four comfortable pillows on each bed soooo comfortable. Plenty of storage space the only thing that was missing was a mirror in the bedroom, there was a mirror in the bathroom, but not much room for putting on makeup and doing hair. The breakfast was very good, buffet style with everything provided., I would definitely recommend this hotel.
I stayed at the NH Geldrop for two days on a recent coach trip. What a lovely place. The staff were delightful and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. As part of our package, the hotel offered a buffet evening meal which was quite delicious. The offerings at breakfast were very varied and the selection was superb. The town itself is a 25/30 minute walk and there are a few restaurants there but the hotel offering is so good, for a short stay there really is no need. A great little place
The NH Geldrop is a great place to rest up on the long journey from Nottingham to Hamburg. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Just off the main highway but in a quiet area. There is a quaint Hotel / Restaurant next door that offers 190 different types of Dutch Pancake!!
My hubby and I stayed at this hotel at the start and at the end of our tour of Scandinavia tour with Shearing group. We were impressed with the facilities in the room ie: proper cups with a teaspoon! And all the beverages that us Brits like. The room was modern and spacious. We thought the fact that the doors to the room opened outwards into the corridor rather strange but soon got used to this on our tour across Scandanavia as they all owned the 'wrong way' We arrived rather late in the evening and was greeted with a pleasant bar person who served us two large beers E4.75 each, which is average hotel prices. There was a very pleasant sitting area outside with shaded areas. The early breakfast the following morning had one of the best choices we've ever experienced, with a hot option and cold buffet, with everything from bacon scrambled eggs pancakes, Danish pastries to die for and an area to cook your own omlettes(time permitting). We also stayed at the Geldrop on our las night and had an evening meal provided which again was buffet service with salads for starters fish, meat plenty of vegetables but the pudding was a bit disappointing by only being fruit salad and chocolate and strawberry mousse. The is however a macdonalds next door if you crave a burger! Top Tip- save your euros if you plan to journey on the main roads as there is a charge for using the loos en route, 70 cents but you get a voucher back for 50 cents to use in the shop.
Liked the hotel, 1 Night stay was comfortable. Arrived here as part of a package tour group from London and Paris. Great rooms, toiletries provided in room were good too. The open vents in the room provided sufficient fresh air even with the windows closed. The vents could be closed as well. Liked this feature. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Hot kettle and ceramic cups with tea, coffee, milk etc was a welcome change from the miserly hospitality in Paris suburb hotel. Spacious breakfast and dinner area for group tour guests. Entrance has a village style charm with cattle grazing in the front left near dusk. Smart lounge area. We got a room to place our bags when we arrived late at night and proceeded for dinner directly. Overall 👍
Hotel is located close to highway, and therefor you can easily the big city Eindhoven. The swimmingpool is really excellent: good size, and nice jacuzzi. And for everyone who doesn't want to eat in the hotel every evening: the is a McDonalds just across the street.
I have never seen a hotel where staff yells at children in public spaces. We stayed in this hotel for couple of days after a long day's journey and naturally my child (4 yrs old) was happy to run around when she found space big enough to stretch her legs and play. With child of her age shouting is part of excitement and the hotel staff yelled directly at her and asked to stop running and to maintain silence. Try yelling at an adult and see the response !. Just because a child cannot retort does not mean you can shout at them. Shame on you folks !! Other than this there is nothing much to say about this hotel except it is clean and well maintained and had a good breakfast spread. Avoid this hotel if you are going with young family. Ok for business.
