This was the WORSE check in experience ever. We called reservations to verify what we were told, the boy at the desk even argues with reservations, he refused to call from motel pho e, said that wasn't his job. The he started yelling at us when we said we wouldnt authorize him charging our card without an amount. RUDE was an understatement, when we ask for managers name, he laughed abd says, I forget.

Really nice location.Heated pool was great.River runs at back of hotel with ducks and Canadian geese that can be fed.Attractions within walking distance.Really nice rooms too.Staff was very friendly and helpful.Prices were reasonable.Would recommend to anyone wanting a nice hotel at a good price.

This hotel is our 1/2 way stopping point to Myrtle beach so we stay here two to three times a year. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast is normal complimentary waffles, eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee and milk. The only complaint I had this stay was there was a large stain on the top blanket.

Great hotel and location. Several restaurants around hotel as well as Lowes, Aldi and Kroger. Receny remodeled with new furniture and bathroom upgrade. Enlarger breakfast area which now included scrambled eggs biscuits and gravy

We were here Fri/Sat for Ponies in the Smokies. This hotel looks very nice after the renovation. I wish they had put a simple hook behind the bathroom door and a large mirror above the computer desk. ( Makeup would be easier to apply) I know most hotels do not wash the cover on the bed. But if you have nasty stains all over by the edge of the bed from God knows what 🤢then you really need to wash them. So moving on to the noise level. Hotels cannot control rudely people, but it was beyond ridiculous during our stay. We checked in at about 3:45pm. One of the guest allowed their kids to scream and run up and down the hallway. The room had no type of noise reduction. I guess because of the gap in the door and no carpet outside it sounded 10X really bad. So I was like well maybe this is temporarily. We then hear a child on the 3rd floor run back and forth for hours. We had to leave for dinner to get a break. Once we returned it was quiet except for our 3rd floor child running laps. When the noise finally stopped we had about 2 hours of quiet time. About 10:45pm our 2nd floor neighbors decided to come in all loud. (Kids screaming and adults talking all loud) I’m not sure what rock these ppl crawled out of since they could careless about others. This was partly the hotel’s fault with lack of sound proofing. Guest should be able to rest easy without all the noise. So if you are tired and need sleep then don’t stay here! I can’t even begin to tell you how loud it was. I would had been pissed if I had booked this for more than 1 night. They do provide breakfast. The hot/cold breakfast is mediocre. I would had gave this a 2-star but my husband says they deserve more since he felt like they can’t control the other guests. We would had requested a new room but since it was just one night... We were thinking it would get quiet once night came. Upon checking out we were not asked about our stay. I would had told them about our stay. We were ready to go. We would not recommend this hotel. We will be back to the Smokies but I will definitely not stay here again.

For the money it’s worth it! Breakfast was not very good but there were things to eat if you’re not picky. I went down better than an hour before breakfast was scheduled to be over. The eggs (scrambled?) were cold and the sausage had hard edges. Don’t know if it was rewarded sausage or what. The biscuits were dry and hard. But there was yogurt and packaged oatmeal! Hotel is clean. The remodeled breakfast area is nice. All the non carpeted floors make it a little loud but I’ll put up with noise rather than dirty carpeting.

Asked for extra pillow and was told all the pillows were in the rooms and there were no extras. I have never been told this in any hotel and do not believe it to be true. The Wifi was weak and would rarely stream any video. Staff kept side door cracked so they could go out and smoke and not have to use front door. Even at night! Did not feel very safe because of this. Will not stay here again.

This hotel is decent for a one night stay. If you need coffee, Starbucks is right beside the hotel. Negatives were that the bed was hard, and the room was really small. This would be a difficult place to stay for a family.

Maybe for some this place might be fine. But we hated the whole 7 hrs we were in that prison cell. The room was so cold we had to keep our coats on over an hour before room warmed up. If your overweight at all you wouldn't be able to move in the room. We felt claustrophobic, just a box room. There is no carpet just cold imitation gray color wood, the door had no latch until you used dead bolt, heat lamp in bathroom what a joke. No heat because it's a flood light bulb. My wife never closed her eyes! If this is remodeling we like the old Hotels.

We went down for 2 nights and the first night was fine because we were so exhausted but the bed was rock hard. We prefer soft beds so we were disappointed there. Woke up Friday morning to a little swarm of lady bugs in our room. We found 6-7 of them throughout the day which we thought was very odd. Trying to sleep there Friday night was an option. There were guests next to us that knew each other and kept running from room to room slamming doors. The floors of the entire hotel are not carpeted so the sound just bounces off them and echoes. We tried asking them to quiet down which I think made it worse. I notified the front desk, but we ended up just packing up our belongings and leaving at midnight because there wasn’t a chance we could sleep with all the hollering and door closing. Also, it is newly “renovated” but I put that in quotes because it was just a face lift. Everything was just painted over and the floors were redone but the trim was awkward. It looks very pretty and clean until you look up close. Also, I am 5’1 and the shower head was eye level with me. I found it very awkward to take a shower. My husband and I actually were laughing because we couldn’t believe how low the shower head was. We wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately. I know the staff means well and the updates seemed nice but it was a terrible experience that left us exhausted and out of money.
