What we liked: It was an extremely nice unit with great finishes. It was very clean and smelled brand new, like we were one of the first guests. The VIEW. Amazing. It has to be one of the best views in town. What we didn't like:The advertising/description could have been more honest. Here were our pain-points:1. The heated pool is what enticed us to book for a premium (300/night) but it was closed. Upon inquiry, it's seasonally (but was also currently broken). We stayed in mid-March with 75-degree weather. Had we known it was offline, we would have paid half price elsewhere. We did ask for rate reduction upon learning this, but they turned us down. If this is important to you, I recommend inquiring first.2. Toilet paper & paper towel ration. They only provide 1 roll per toilet & a small roll of paper towels in the kitchen, which seemed a little stingy for the price. Especially since shopping in Gatlinburg is inconvenient... (we had to pay 10-20 just to park & get essentials at Walgreens). Recommend bringing toiletries with you.3. After signing our VRBO contract & paying non-refundable deposit, they emailed us every day about signing an additional contract. I told them no & to their credit, they agreed.Would we stay there again? Probably, but we would inquire about the pool & arrive with essentials.
