Welcome to Grey Wind Lodge, your Gatlinburg family retreat with breathtaking views and three resort pools! We're located near your favorite attractions like Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and Anakeesta! Grey Wind is perched atop the beautiful Cobbly Nob neighborhood, bordering The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Come enjoy the warm and welcoming home we made for your family.

The cabin is exclusively yours without interruption for the duration of your stay so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home.

You'll drive right up to Grey Wind Lodge. Keyless entry with door code is provided in your Check-in Instructions. Let us know if you have questions!

In addition to mentioned amenities, our home is also equipped with:

Check-in Time is 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM (please contact us if you need to check in after 11:00 PM ET). Check-out Time is 10:00 AM.

All persons must be 25+ unless accompanied by an adult. While children are always welcome, Grey Wind Lodge is not toddler/baby-proof and children must be supervised at all times.

Pet fee applies if bringing dogs (up to 2 dogs per reservation) and must be added to your reservation at time of booking. Undisclosed pets will incur a $500 charge.


The cabin is tucked away and private! You will have the entire place to yourself.

Other Details
Remember, we're in the woods. You will certainly see critters and maybe even some bears! Always be aware of your surroundings. Never approach wildlife.

The cabin is in the mountains. Even though Cobbly Nob has among the best maintained and easiest roads to navigate, the roads are indeed winding and hilly. Please purchase travel insurance as we cannot guarantee the cabin will be accessible during or after a weather event. Refunds are not available due to inclement weather or impassable roads.

The driveway is paved and uphill, but not too steep. Parking Area is paved and flat. Please keep vehicles on paved surfaces. A maximum of three vehicles are permitted on the property without prior approval.

IMPORTANT VEHICLE NOTE: Please keep your vehicles locked at all times. Bears can and will enter vehicles in search of food. Bears can become trapped in the vehicle, which is extremely dangerous for them. Please help our bear populations and lock your vehicle at all times. Grey Wind Lodge, its owners, or staff are not responsible for any damage to vehicles that may occur on the property.
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. The bathroom offers a jetted tub and hair dryers. Other standard amenities include a washer/dryer, a fireplace, and a sofa bed.

Beautiful view and clean, comfortable cabin

We enjoyed drinking coffee in the rocking chairs on the front porch and taking in the beautiful view. The cabin was clean and comfortable, including the beds. Plenty of towels were provided, which we don’t normally find. The cabin had games and puzzles that we enjoyed using. The arcade games and pool table were great as well. We couldn’t figure out the Roku devices, so you may want to bring your own, but we didn’t watch much TV anyway. We took our pet and there was a some green space in the front yard for her. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

A few friends and mine decided to do a girls trip in Gatlinburg and found this gem of a cabin! It was very clean and Brad was a great host and very communicative. We would definitely use again in the future!

Cabin was cozy but outdated

Our stay was lovely, however we couldn’t get the tv in the living room to work. The hot tub was nice, but it would have been even better in an enclosed space. The road to the cabin was no joke. We’ve stayed in cabins before, but none with a drive way like that. Overall our stay was nice.

Definitely needs some updates

Overall not a horrible experience, but televisions didn't work due to broken Roku's. Dryer didn't work. Location was great, house was beautiful, definitely needs some updating and repairs to some of the amenities.

Great cabin!

The cabin was very clean and decorated so cute for Christmas. However, due to the wood burning fireplace the smell is really strong. Most of the arcade, pool table, and accessories are broke. The driveway to the cabin is extremely narrow with branches sticking out hitting your vehicle. It’s a long ways from everything. The driveway and route to the cabin is extremely steep especially if expecting bad weather.

Our stay was amazing and Brad was great to deal with and even worked with us to move around our reservation due to a sudden severe health condition in our family. The place was very clean and homey feeling.. The views were beyond amazing…! I would score it a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being amazing.

Absolutely gorgeous property!!! Even saw a bear on our way back from downtown Gatlinburg. Nothing I say will do this place justice. The stars at night the colors of the trees and being on top of a mountain! The home was cozy and beautiful. The only thing is the road up to the location. Some hairpin turns and straight up at points.

Beautiful Cabin with Mountain Views

My family and I stayed here for a week at the end of August. It was everything we had hoped it would be and more!! Cabin is exactly as pictured. Some reviews I read said the road to the cabin is too steep for a car, this is not true. Yes, it is pretty steep, however, you will have no issues getting up with any vehicle. We saw a couple of bears one morning while we were on the front porch. They climbed the tree in the front, and played for about 30min. Was amazing! You're secluded enough to have quiet, but also close enough to downtown Gatlinburg to not have to drive a long way(about 20min). We looked at dozens and dozens of cabins before we booked this one. So glad we did! Definitely would recommend, and stay again!!

Loved this Mountain Retreat!

Travelled from the Northeast for a mountain getaway and this house did not disappoint! The cabin was spacious and clean and had all the kitchen appliances we needed. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub after our daily adventures and slept on the most comfortable beds! Also enjoyed a visit from the local bear, rabbits and baby coyote. Great location as it's close to all that Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have to offer. Would stay here again! Thanks so much Brad!

Great Place to Stay!

Host was extremely helpful and responded quickly to questions. Location was great. Two of the pools were very easy to drive to and the location of the cabin was nice in that you didn't have to drive far to get to Gatlinburg and was also close to rafting. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room!

Great Family Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property! The kids enjoyed the game room and the kitchen was well stocked for us to cook our meals. We also enjoyed the quietness of the property, but we were close enough for a quick trip into town as well as white water rafting and the Smokey mountain trails.

Awesome cabin with beautiful views. Brad was a terrific host. He was proactive with necessary info for arrival/checkin, checkout etc. All instructions were very clear. He was very quick and attentive in all communication we had. The home was very clean and well kept. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived and it was a wonderful place to relax and rest when we were not out hiking in the Smokey Mountains. The neighborhood was quiet and secluded. We had no issues during our stay and everything was as described. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this excellent home.

Property is beautiful and so much room inside. Beautiful views of mountains. Definitely need to have a 4x4 to get up to property, not owners fault. Love the cabin aesthetic and bear decor!! Nice and quiet area. Like seeing rabbit, racoon, and birds. Loved the screened in back porch!!

Amazing week

Brad was an amazing host. The home was beautiful and very well kept. We had an issue with the ac unit and he had his service guy on standby to come out at 1130 at night. It wasn’t a huge deal so we agreed to have him out the next day instead. Anytime I messaged Brad he was quick to respond. He also checked in on us a few to see how our trip was going. All in all it was a great trip and we are actually in talks to come back in the fall. When we return we will definitely rent this house again.
