Melinda was the rudest human being I've ever seen...we arrived 4 hours early and the room was CLEANED but she sat in front of the place for 4 hours and so did we and she left at 4:01

Mixed bag for a budget hotel
First of all the check in process was really good. I had my doubts with it being done by text messages but honestly it was really easy and super fast.
The room itself was clean and functional and that is all we were looking for. The community room equally so. The communal kitchen however smelt dreadful. Like really really bad, luckily we did not want to actually use it. I just wanted out of that area ASAP.
Outside the hotel needs some TLC. The firepit area for example had weeds growing up all over it and looked like it had not been weeded this year and had not seen a new layer of mulch in quite a while. It would not take much effort to make this an inviting an area as it is in the pictures.
Overall , its a budget hotel and we got what we paid for.
The outside of the property definitely gives off the impression that it isn’t a great place. But honestly, the room was very nice and spacious. The check in prices was great and really simple. I have two issues though. One, the shower head was extremely low. I’m 5’5 and I had to physically bend down to take a shower. If you are taller taking a shower here is almost impossible. Secondly, this is a very inexpensive lodge and it’s great for the price. I asked if I could add another day onto our stay and the price to extend the stay was a little outrageous. I ended up booking a whole other hotel that was a lot cheaper and we honestly nicer. Over all great place other than the two stated things.
Place was cool but the listing confused me and didn’t specify that the kitchen area was communal not a part of the actual room. Other than that it was swag.
