The cabin is next to a dumpster churning trash 24/7. Trash is constantly being dumped & tons of garbage piled up which led to massive bears surrounding our cabin & preventing us from leaving. After calling they cleaned the area around the trash compactor but left multiple other bags. Our view from the windows & porch the entire trip was mounds of trash in the creek. The bears came back every night to visit the trash. Management never cleaned it up even by the time we left. The 2nd morning we woke up to the central heat being out. We had heat from the electric fireplaces so it wasn’t cold, but we text Amanda to let her know. It was my wife’s bday that day & she was very sick w/ the flu. We got into a big argument w/ Amanda after she demanded we allow maintenance to come work on the unit on my wife’s bday (in the very small cabin) even after we told her we were fine. We had to beg the maintenance man to please come back the next day b/c he stated they would be in and out all day trying to fix it. He agreed & left but the argument w/ amanda left a bad impression as it was extremely out of line. Also the spout in the heart shaped tub does not work. It will fill it up a little but sprays water in every direction & makes a huge mess & the cabin only has enough hot water to fill it 1/3 of the way. If you need a place to sleep it isn’t horrible, but w/ all the issues plus bad customer service I wouldn’t ever call this romantic. We absolutely would never stay here again.
