The property was conveniently located to shops and restaurants. Easy walk over the bridge and the sound of the river was amazing. The only issue was the profuse amount of room freshener that was just nauseating. The room was very clean so there was no need to mask any smells.

Property is beautiful and clean. However, it would be nice if they let you know that there is no elevator on the property. Our room was downstairs and we had to lug three 50 lb. suitcases downstairs and then back up.

We enjoyed the convenience of the location just outside of Yellowstone National Park north entrance. The view of the river made for a nice ambiance. We had an elk and her babies come visit our second night there. She minded her business and we minded ours while just admiring the beauty of nature at our back door. It was an easy walk to restaurants, gift shops and the convenience store. The biggest downfall is accessibility and parking. We were in the second building and there were no parking spaces when we arrived. We had our two small children with us and several bags to carry. We essentially had to park in front of other cars to get all of our belongings downstairs.

CHEAP MOTEL FEEL and TERRIBLE HOUSEKEEPING

Let me start by saying the mattress on my bed was so old I sunk right into the box spring! I only weigh 185 lbs. The top portion o the springs literally touched the bottom of the springs. There was no other room to move us to, and they would not replace the mattress. We had a room with a kitchenette: No sponge to wash dishes, only a few paper towels on the roll, empty salt and pepper shakers, scratched up and dirty pots, very small refrigerator with a freezer that needed dethawing of built up ice, and get this....THE COFFEE FOR THE ROOM WAS IN AN OPEN CONTAINER THAT GUESTS SHARE (or taint) FROM ONE PERSON STAYING TO THE NEXT! scary! The provided keycard tells you to lock the deadbolt, but there is not one on the door-see pic.

Would stay again

Nice place, great entrance to the park with little traffic. The lodge needs more parking, and it is sort of cramped but we never had a major issue. The first night, we finally found a spot, it was so full. The a/c in our room was not working good, and apparently others complained because they replaced it the next day. The lodge does not have laundry, and only offers maid service when requested but it was nice and good views.

The property should improve its employee training to enhance service quality. There was no staff at the check-in counter when we arrived. In the end, we waited for half an hour before receiving our room key. Additionally, the staff member appeared to be intoxicated when he finally showed up.
