The staff were very nice and efficient. The hotel was very clean and well kept. The gym is wonderful! The hotel layout was well organized and made sense. The additional fees to use amenities, things being closed without warning, no in-room control of the AC, and wait times for elevators made it a very good stay instead of an excellent stay.

Found mini roach in room......

Found a mini cockroach near the curtains the minute i entered the room, assuming it got in from the balcony as i saw a few more crawling on the outside of the windows. Then i saw hair caught in the hair dryer when i was about to use it. Not to mention that the curtains were stained. Glad to see bedding very clean though and the ocean view from my room in the morning were probably the only upside of the stay.

We loved our stay here at Skybay Hotel! Our room was on the 14th floor overlooking the ocean and it was amazing! We will definitely try to stay here again, there was so much to do nearby and lots of restaurants/ cafes. 10/10 experience!

Definitely not a four stars hotel. Upon checking, noted bad urine odor from bathroom and also found some black mold growing inside bathroom walls. I let the front desk know about the problem but they didnโ€™t seem to be too concerned, not even apologize from staff. Maybe itโ€™s common issues? Anyway, I canโ€™t recommend this hotel ($160 for a night) there are much cleaner hotels nearby.

A grand hotel with not so knowledgeable front desk clerk. I made a reservation for three, and the clerk was talking to me as if I made a reservation for two and brought an extra person at the last minute. She told me that "this time we will let go but next time there will be an extra charge." Anyway, the welcoming at the front desk didnโ€™t go well as "welcoming" as it should be but I let it go. Since we didnโ€™t get to the hotel until much later, we called the front desk to get some guidance for a place to eat. She said that every thing in the hotel is closed so if we need to get food, we had to go outside of the hotel. Once I came downstairs to explore the area, there were places in the hotel lobby that served food. I decided to try their dinner buffet following evening, located on the 20th floor of the hotel. I paid 120,000 korean won, about $110.00 per pserson. I was hoping to enjoy crab legs but was so disappointed with dry crab meat. Sashimi and sushi were good but galbee marinated beef were tough, and difficul to chew, Shrimp were overcooked. Definitely not worth spending that kind of money.

Bad management experience

The hotel itself was fine but management was appalling. We never expected to receive a call from the police during our family trip for something so ridiculous. Apparently, someoneโ€™s car was scratched in the parking lot and they wanted to find the perpetrator. Fine. But hotel management called every car owner who exited the parking lot at the supposed โ€œtime of the crimeโ€ and we also got the call as well. We know we didnโ€™t do it because all the family members were in the car and confirmed we didnโ€™t bump into anyone and just in case we even checked the outside of the car to see if there were any scratches. None. Whatโ€™s even funnier was that they donโ€™t have security cameras in the parking garages so they have no evidence if the accident even happened in the garage but still called everyone. The craziest thing is that we even got a call from the police a couple days later. How and why did they even get our information?? We had called management before and clarified that we donโ€™t believe it was our car and thought that was done with but the police call came and we even sent them a picture of our car. The whole situation seemed very pointless. I feel like the hotel could have managed the situation better and not send out our personal information without consent.
