Black Mold on ceiling in shower

We arrived at 4pm. Check in was easy. We walked into this condo there was a moldy smell. Opened the bathroom door and the smell was stronger. Pulled back the shower curtain to see an area of black mold over the shower head on the ceiling. We immediately left the room. Notified the contact number we had. Sent pictures of what we found to management. After 2 hours of being on the phone with management we were finally relocated to another condo on the same property just in a different area. This 2 hr. Delay messed up dinner reservations and caused issues with some of groceries that we had just picked up getting hot and going bad. Management did relocate us to a clean property however didn’t allow us to have a late check out to allow for the time we missed during check in. This room seemed very cozy and would be perfect for a couple’s weekend once this room has gone through mold remediation. Vacasa is the management company and although the employees and management were polite they didn’t seem to be able to quickly resolve issues. Before booking this room make sure proper remediation has been done.

Our Stay

The people that were in the parking area were very rude and disrespectful. They gave us a ticket saying that we were taken up two parking places. Which was un true. This was our second time staying here, but will not be back.

Quick Girls Getaway

It was the perfect place for a quick 2 night getaway. The porch was one of the reasons we picked this unit, because it has both covered and uncovered space. Access to the beach was convenient! We would definitely visit again!

Great beach location

Property was located right on the beach and no need to cross the busy boulevard. Pools and hot tubs were clean and warm. Grounds were well kept. Condo was well equipped and had everything we needed. We left a few beach chairs for the next guests. Would definitely stay again.

Seascapes is a wonderful facility with everything right there. This was our second stay and we’ll be back. Great location on the beach, plus you can relax in the pool and hot tubs. Rooms are up to date with great balconies.

We’ve stayed at Seascape condominiums many times, in various units. This one was the best, so far! The addition of small details like providing coffee pods, flavored creamer & sugar packets were a very nice touch.

Great location

Me and my daughter stayed here and loved the short boardwalk straight to the beach with no road to cross. The pool, hot tubs and common areas were great too. There was plenty of parking and everyone we encountered was friendly. Lots of clean beach towels for our use in the unit, a cute patio and a well-equipped kitchen other than the oven which can’t open because of the cabinet under the sink gets in the way. This unit could use an upgraded tub/shower but we would stay here again because of the location. It’s a cozy little condo that was just right for our weekend trip, just don’t plan on doing any baking during your stay.

Perfect mother/daughter beach escape

My college-aged daughter and I loved our girl's trip to Galveston. This condo was perfect for us. I used the main bedroom and she used one of the hallway bunks. There was easy parking right near the back stairs that let out right near the door to this unit. The unit is at the back farthest from the beachfront, but the complex is a relatively small one and it was as simple as walking past the pool to get to the beach access gate. The patio had a great table and chairs that looked over the pool and still had a view of the ocean. As I stated, this unit was PERFECT for me and my young adult daughter, but we commented more than once that we would have been miserable if it had been our full family of 6. It may sleep 6, but you would all be on top of each other. It is a small unit. Only one person can be in the kitchen at a time. As far as amenities, the kitchen has the basic cookware (but a strainer would be nice!), and enough toilet paper and papertowels for our stay. Also enough towels that we didn't have to wash any during our stay and even some bonus beach towels under the bathroom sink that came in handy. I would definitely stay here again!

This was our 2nd stay and we love the property, ease of access to the beach and the pool.

One thing we noticed this year that will prevent future stays is the overbearing monitoring of the pool. The company that hires the ladies to monitor the pool needs to calm down. Parents are paying lots of money to relax and have their kids enjoy themselves. This company griped about every tiny little thing the kids did(not even dangerous stuff) it’s a sad bit we will not be back. We really enjoyed our condo though.

Great spot

Enjoyed the stay. The unit was just the right size. The heated pool and jacuzzis were awesome. Location to the beach was awesome. Will definitely be coming back to Seascape.

Nice place

The unit was nice and well maintained. Well decorated and very beach. Nice views from the patio. Beach was right there. On site pools were nice. The overall grounds of the condo was in need of some better maintenance.
