It's behind another hotel, no view to sea. No ice machine in the floor, only available in first floor. Room is small.
This was horrible experience. Upon arrival we had to switch rooms. There was a horrible stench. We had to ask three times for a crib which didn't come until about 9PM. There was human feces in the pool and was reported to front desk and was still there the second time we tried to go back with the kids. There were also people at the pool that were not clients which resulted in my wife being nailed in the head with a football. The front office did nothing to compensate when reported.
Breakfast: poor management - poor quality Main door of the room (1029): we had to get the key reset several time. Bathroom door: lock itself due miss alignment with the frame. An old person would be able lock himself/herself inside the bathroom with no option to call for help.
We were so welcomed at this place. You were enthusiastic in your caring for us. The breakfasts were the best,.. so many choices and even some of the choices were changed up from day to day. We loved the layout of our room... so practical. The kitchen was an added plus.

rooms were clean service good. Like the pool side bar. But pool was really dirty (cloudy and algea) Needs to be shocked. Shower head needs to be replaced was dripping during wife's bath non-stop. But overall good experience. Will be back.
1. Surprise $100 non-refundable pet charges that were not stated in the fine print. Our dog left the room cleaner than I bet some of the revelers down the hall. 2. Sub par television selection, especially for kids. One option. Also, Cartoon network is not for young kids.
House keeping came early the second day, before folks are even up for the day, so we were not able to leave so they could clean. A half hour later I looked out and told them we would be leaving for breakfast in 20mins so to come then. We went to breakfast and came back 2 hrs later, and they still hadn't cleaned the room. The first day the didn't replenish all the supplies.. Other than that, the hotel itself was good. I wouldn't go for the breakfast though, its really basic Which is why we ended up just going out the second and 3rd day.. Overall, me myself, I probably wouldn't stay here again, I would try another location for the price. But it was okay for being my first stay and again, it was close to the destination we needed it to be close to.
The hotel and staff were spot on. They are quick with any requests that we made and the kiddos loved the pool area and having their own room.

Very nice hotel. Our room had a full kitchen so I cooked a couple of nights. Only downfall, no beach access across the road. This part of the seawall is only big rocks. But still very nice..
Overall the stay went well and we liked the hotel. There was a bit of a dog smell on the first floor so that wasn't to welcoming. But other than that good.
I really expected more from Marriott. Breakfast was lacking. Even though fairly new hotel, it seemed kinda used. Walls in the room had marks all on them and in need of painting. I have paid a lot less for a lot nicer. Fair location just across street from ocean, but no sandy beach, and really too far down on seawall for walking distance to attractions. Would recommend if more in 89-99$ range. Probably will stay in a Springhill Suites next time.
Really great place to rest and awesome pet friendly hotel around. Would recommend it to friends and family.
