A wonderful stay from start to finish! We were so well looked after by Richard the owner. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and generous of his time spent with guests. The breakfast cooked from scratch each day by Logan was absolutely wonderful. We have never experienced service and hospitality like it! The location of the hotel is just perfect for visiting both the historic district and the seawall area. And to top it all off, Richard himself drove us to the port to join our cruise ship at the end of our 3 day stay. A wonderful first impression of Galveston hospitality - can't recommend The Lasker Inn highly enough!

Gorgeous property! We only stayed one night before our cruise, but wish to have been able to stay longer. Richard welcomed us and showed us the house and our room. Beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was prepared with care by the Chef, savory and sweet options. Definitely planning to stay again.

Outstanding, exceptional! Beautiful, large private rooms in gorgeous 19th century home. Open bar with snacks. Excellent breakfast. And Richard was always helpful and friendly. What a find!!

Our stay was amazing! Host was super friendly, gave us a tour and said make yourselves at home. Was very helpful with transportation to and from cruise port, helped with a place for our vehicle for the week and was very responsive to any problem or concern! Breakfast was amazing and home cooked by the owners chef. The whole experience was wonderful and price was great :)
