Four couples stayed at Lady Galvez for a wedding. We had plenty of room and really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and Pam was great to communicate with for check in! Would definitely recommend the property.

Perfect house for groups & families steps from the beach

A beautiful house that can comfortably sleep 3 couples and 4 kids. The house is modern, very clean and very well equipped. It is big enough that each couple feels well separated. A room with 2 bunk beds sleeps up to 4 kids. It is reasonably well child-proofed that we felt our 1 year old was safe. The house is a short walk from the beach, the Pleasure Pier and multiple restarants. You will want a car to reach the downtown area for more restaurants and entertainment. The garage in the rear holds 2 cars. Pam, the owner, was great to work with - super responsive and very helpful. We were very happy with our stay at this property and would stay there again if we return to Galveston. Strongly recommended!

Wonderful Time in Galveston

The accommodations were wonderful. Everything was spotless inside the house and there were ample supplies in the kitchen to get started cooking. Beds were comfortable and showers had great water pressure and temperature. The location was within walking distance to the Seawall and the Pleasure Pier which made it very convenient for us. Overall, a very lovely home away from home. Property managers Pam and Kimberly were very courteous and polite and responded to all messages in a very timely manner. Next time we come back to Galveston for a vacation, we will definitely put Lady Galvez at the top of our list of accommodations.

Girls weekend

Three generations of ladies stayed for an extended weekend. Property is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. One bedroom and bathroom are located downstairs, which was a requirement for my mother in law. We loved having the garage to park our cars. The only downside to getting into the garage is the alley behind the house can be blocked by residents' cars and needed to go around the block to access the other side of the alley entrance. I called the property manager twice about very small issues (didn't know how to turn on kitchen exhaust fan and no laundry detergent in laundry area to start washing the towels when we left). Kimberly was helpful and responsive. Easy walk to Pleasure Pier and the seawall. The location is great. It was a lovely stay and we would stay at this property again.

Beautiful property, amazing stay & location!

We just left the Lady Galvez today; already miss it! The decor, openness, bathrooms/bedrooms, living area and kitchen are immaculate & beautiful. But also—comfortable! The location was great…short walk to the beach but we chose to drive to East beach bc we love the sand and solitude over there (3 min drive) and so close to the strand as well. The patio is fantastic (enjoyed dinner outside) and the inside of the home is so quiet when you need downtime. The property manager is super nice and helpful as well. We cannot wait to return! Highly recommend. Btw-I almost didn’t write this bc we want to keep it our secret lol.

Wonderful weekend vacation

We have rented many times in Galveston, but usually directly on the beach. This time we wanted a different experience in Galveston. This house did not disappoint. Pictures and listing does not do this house justice. It is was more gorgeous in person. The owners and property manager were both very quick at replying to any and all messages. The "Lady Galvez"...nothing but the best !

Ya'll....The Moore family had an amazing stay at the Lady Galvez. We went in for a family vacation and National Dance competition. This place will make you wish you never had to leave....from the moment we walked in...so refreshing and welcoming. With that Galveston humidity...the AC in the Lady Galvez did not dissapoint. Most VRBO's...have just the "basics"...in the kitchen....this kitchen was fully stocked with all the items from home.....all we needed was to buy food ! The house is brand new.....felt like we were the 1st to stay there. Now...the property manager...Kimberly....you will not find a better host! She went from being the property manager....to our personal Concierges.....she had all the answers...and had all the "do-nots".....we made our dinner reservations based off of her recommendations...she was 100% spot on! The location of the house is better than most....you are literllay a blocks walk from the "center of the action"....Pleasure pier ! We got in mid-day...after a 10+ hr drive...wanted to get the cars washed and detailed....all we had to do was text Kimberly....she recommended "Esteban"...a mobile auto detailing service.....he came and detailed both veh's...in the back..while we relaxed from our trip. The whole experience ....was based on the comforts of our home....and we were very comfortable. I just can go on...and on.....but the bottom line....Miss Pam (The Owner) and Kimerbly (The proterty manager)....made us feel at home...and like family!

Guys Fishing Trip

We recently had an incredible weekend at the Lady Galvez in Galveston. This review comes after a two-night stay, during which we participated in an industry fishing tournament.
