The beach house was a great place to stay. The house has all of the amenities plus some. The view and access to the beach can’t get better, it’s literally the front yard. The house and property are very well maintained. The property is in a great location. I will stay there again when visiting Galveston.

Beautiful and quiet vacation spot

The beach house was very easy to find and upon arrival everyone had a smile from ear to ear. The view and the quietness of the location is simply amazing. We found the house very clean and accommodating with a very spacious layout. This is the place to come to for a truly relaxing experience.

GCC conference

Stayed here many times in the past for a conference at the Moody Gardens Convention Center and have always enjoyed the home prior to the remodel and especially now with the remodel. The house and location are excellent.

Had a great stay. The view was beautiful and right on the beach just a short walk to get your feet in the sand. I would recommend that you always have something on your feet prior to getting to the beach. My kids and myself got splinters in our feet from the deck and stickers from walking on the grass barefoot. The house and stay was great besides that. The smoke detectors did end up going off due to the batteries were firing but that was a quick fix. I would recommend this property for your family vacation. As of now it’s not the busy season. There is a free parking lot next to the house for the beach I would keep that in mind for the summer months. They are also building on the other side of the house. But overall it was great. The outdoor space and shower was great.

The main upstairs level was excellent. Very clean & the kichtenware was well stocked. Thoroughly enjoyed the main floor! Unfortunately, the downstairs accommodations were unacceptable and even lean towards a health violation. I have pictures of all the mold that I would like to share. This created quite an issue & embarrassment as our guest refused to sleep there.

Gorgeous Getaway

This home was a wonderful place for a week away stay with our teenage and young adult daughters. The apartment downstairs gave our older daughter space and everyone had a comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. The kitchen is well-stocked and the linens/towels/blankets plentiful throughout. We enjoyed a puzzle and games and simply all being able to be together inside and on the deck. The view and sunrises were lovely.So quiet and a gorgeous, relaxing getaway with the beach just steps away!!

Oh my gosh! I want to live there! Perfect location. It was better than I expected. First time we have ever rented like this before. The home was gorgeous and perfectly decorated. All the supplies you provided were amazing. Ended up only 4 of us staying. The other 4 only came down for lunch yesterday! Can’t wait to come back again!!! I just cannot tell you how much we enjoyed your BLESSING!!!! It was our blessing these past few days! 🥰

First day had problem with ac but it was the power pole. Theycontracted the city and got it fixed quickly. The house was perfect for our family of 13. Would like to stay again in the future Thank you

We booked this property over the Christmas holiday week for two families and really liked the proximity to the beach and also the concept of dual living spaces, private grounds and the quiet area of the island that the property seemed to offer. Many things we loved but a few unfortunate details impacted the quality of our stay and this review.The upstairs space is absolutely the primary unit and is mainly well stocked and maintained (4 stars- due to a few small things as well as the heavily stained area rug and mold above windows in the living room.) The downstairs however is in essence a basement (2/3 stars.). The bunks were tricky to use and the living area was damp (with the dehumidifier running 24/7-50% humidity) and pretty void of natural light. We communicated concerns, including photos, regarding ants, spiders, the amount of dust, dirt in the corners of floors/ ceilings and a few areas with evident mold as well as some missing items. The response from the property management company was generic with no acknowledgment of our specific concerns aside from an appreciation for the feedback. It did not instill confidence that there was any intent to deal with those concerns for any future guests.Lastly, the listing notes nearby construction may be on going, important for future guests to understand that there is a very large development going on directly next door. I am sure once built, it will change the vibe of the private/ quiet property. We will book elsewhere.
