Judy was a great Host. She was very communicative and made sure our stay went well. The place had PLENTY of room for us four adults! We really enjoyed the back porch and patio seating. Nice neighborhood and easy to get around.A car is a great idea as things on the island are quite spread out.

We could not have asked for a better weekend getaway on the island! The house was even more spacious than pictured and was so cutely styled with special details everywhere you looked. It also was very well-stocked with anything we could’ve needed. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were so cozy, with the perfect sleeping arrangements for the five people in our group. We loved the neighborhood and found it convenient to everything we wanted to do. As a host, Judy was so accommodating and communicated everything we needed to know very promptly and in detail. Any questions we had she was so quick to answer and we felt right at home. We would not hesitate to recommend this house to others looking for a beach retreat and hope to be back very soon!

This house is fantastic! My family of six adults had plenty of room to spread out. It had a great kitchen with everything we needed to make several meals. It had a spacious dining room and large comfortable living room. There were folding chairs which we took to the beach on a cart that was provided. We used the gas grill and enjoyed the short walk to the beach. However, the best part of the experience was the host. She contacted us early and often and made sure that we everything we needed before we even knew to ask. The value of the property was outstanding, and the host made it priceless. Great location, great property, great host - win, win, win.

Great, comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, spacious and cozy home. Everything was clean, it had all the necessities and more. AC worked great in this heat. Short walk to the beach and some good restaurants. Kroger supermarket close by. Nice neighbor Lupe who was so nice and patient taking a picture of the family who visited us. We certainly can refer this home for a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay at this amazing property! It’s even better than the pictures. It has everything you need to enjoy your time in Galveston but you might want to just relax at the house. It was perfect for our family group of 8. The kitchen is amazing, all the amenities are well thought out and communication with Judy was seamless. Judy was also flexible and worked with me when I wasn’t as organized as I should have been. Would love to go back sometime and highly recommend.

Great family environment and great host

All the assessor cannot compare to the price of the rental. It was very comfortable and relaxing. Everything was within reach grocery store, beach , downtown , restaurants great little circle. Very clean and refreshing, was able to wash and dry my kids clothes before I put them to bed. The agenda book for the house is full of adventures that I didn't get to get to complete because I didn't book enough days. I will be back with my family.

Like Being Home

This charming 1940's brick house in Galveston, was like coming home. Comfortable. Cozy. It is well-equipped with anything and everything you could possibly want or need. There were cozy throws for the winter, and plenty of blankets and pillows galore to choose from to get the perfect one for a good night's sleep. The kitchen is great if you decide you want to cook rather than walk to the myriad restaurants close by. Even better, this home is a short walk to the seawall - that was a bigger bonus than I first realized. I loved this little house. The location. The funky in-transition neighborhood (as is all Galveston which gives it its charm) and the ability to walk just about anywhere you want--other than downtown. And the owner was a dream to work with. We stayed here for two months during the winter and it was a wonderful, comfortable warm place to stay. We would stay again in a heartbeat.
