Old Farmhouse
The Old Farmhouse is a typical building of the '400, which the farmer employed in tilling the large land owned by the lords of.
In those days, far from the center of Gallipoli, the structure was to enable self-sufficiency to the large family that lived there.
In fact, on the ground floor there, consumed by time and by the sea air, now restored to allow the stay to the guests, a "grilling", which was used for the production of wine, an oven for baking bread, a small stable and a warehouse.
Today, given the proximity to the sea within easy walking distance, is surrounded by sports and tourism and is well served by infrastructure around it, but inside its typical old "drywall" still retains all its charm.
It is located on the outskirts of Gallipoli and is surrounded by greenery in fact a large garden with fruit trees and ornamental plants, a grove, the proximity to the sea and the center of the city, make the lovely stay.

Eccellente!! - Abitazione da film, proprietario eccezionale.
Siamo stati 11 giorni io e la mia famiglia (io, mia moglie e 3 bimbi piccoli) in questa abitazione da favola. La casa è talmente bella e suggestiva che non veniva voglia di uscire la sera. Cena all'ombra del fico nello splendido giardino.. e fresco nonostante il caldo dell'estate salentina.
Ho apprezzato in particolare il gusto del proprietario che ha rispettato l'aspetto tradizionale della casa anche nell'arredo. (La Tv l'ha installata solo su nostra richiesta perché avrebbe rovinato l'atmosfera).
Il proprietario Francesco è una persona eccezionale che trasmette entusiasmo per il suo lavoro e nell'accontentare le esigenze degli ospiti. Sempre pronto a dare consigli su come muoversi e cosa vedere, disponibile ad ogni necessità. In pochi giorni è diventato un amico.
Se tornerò in Salento in futuro (probabile) sicuramente cercherò la stessa sistemazione.
