Villa Cristal Pool and Padel, Galatina, Italy

A stunning contemporary villa which is perfect for friends or family. The villa is divided into 4 separate apartments and sleeps up to 12 people. Set in spacious gardens with a large swimming pool and a paddle court, it offers a relaxing holiday base in the heart of Salento.

This unique property is laid out over 3 floors. The 4 apartments offer privacy and independence, whilst allowing guests to get together in the communal areas.

In the basement, which is built around a large light well, there are 2 apartments, reached by an external staircase or internal stairs from the main house. These 2 apartments both have living rooms with sofas and well-equipped kitchens, as well as 1 double bedroom in each, and completely new bathrooms. The apartments have their own terraces and the rooms open onto a shared terrace.

On the ground floor of the house is a third apartment. This one has an open-plan living room/kitchen. The living room is furnished with a sofa and flat-screen TV, whilst the kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven, fridge/freezer and Mokka coffee machine. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds, which can be joined. The two bathrooms both have showers, basin, bidet and WC. Terraces look out over the garden and are furnished with tables and chairs for guests’ relaxation.

The fourth loft-style apartment is on the first floor with an open living room/kitchen and lovely terraces overlooking the gardens. There is another double bedroom and bathroom.

In total, the property has 4 living rooms, 5 bedrooms and bathrooms, plus two outdoor showers by the swimming pool.

The villa’s extensive fenced gardens include a large swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers where guests can relax after a refreshing swim, as well as the paddle court for family fun. Next to the swimming pool is a covered dining area where everyone can get together for relaxed meals.

The pool will be open from May 1st to October 31st.

Please note that only two courtesy rackets are provided, and no padel equipment is supplied. Guests are required to bring their own padel rackets for personal use.

Location
The villa is on the outskirts of the historic town of Galatina, which is a hidden gem. Like Lecce (30 minutes away) Galatina has a beautifully preserved Baroque town centre, with lovely churches and palaces. It is a beautiful place, where you can lose yourself for a few hours, exploring its restaurants, bars and boutiques. The town is famous as the birthplace of the delicious Puglian dessert of Pasticciotto. For more delicious local food, the weekly market takes place every Thursday morning and is well worth a visit.

In the centre of the Salento peninsular, the villa is 30 minutes from either coast. The sandy beach of Santa Catarina al Bagno (28 minutes) makes a wonderful day out. The port of Gallipoli (the Beautiful City), which was founded by Greek settlers thousands of years ago, is just 30 minutes away. Here you will find fascinating historical sites, ancient city walls and some of the best fish in Salento.

The city of Lecce, the “Florence of the South”, is famous for its wonderful Baroque architecture as well as its Roman ruins. It is a jewel of a city and well worth a visit. Not only for its long history but also for its excellent food and good shopping.

The closest airport is at Brindisi - just 1 hour away by car. Please note that the pool is open from the 1st of May 2025 to the 31st of October 2025
