Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Bay Cottage is a single storey detached cottage situated in a quiet backwater overlooking Gairloch Bay. Attractively presented throughout, it provides an ideal self catering base for couples wishing to explore this beautiful and renowned area of the Highland west coast. The accommodation is mainly open plan. The pretty lounge area is separated from the modern, well equipped kitchen by a breakfast bar. There is a warm and cosy double bedroom and bright, modern bathroom with shower. Bay Cottage is very conveniently situated in the tiny hamlet of Charleston, overlooking the bay and opposite Gairloch harbour. There is a thriving local inn just 1/4 mile from the cottage. It is also just a short walk to the harbour. Along the pier there are a selection of small shops, a cafe and post office. There are a number of excellent sea and wildlife boat trips that can be booked from the harbour, as well as sea fishing trips and excursions in a glass bottom boat.
The cottage is heated and features a kitchen and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. The cottage also includes a washing machine.

Excellent cosy cottage for two people located within easy walking distance of the harbour and in a very quiet location. It's a beautiful area with stunning scenery, beaches and mountains. There are plenty of walks in the area. Take an OS map. The Creole restaurant and Chinese takeaway were both excellent.
