Great rooms, decorated to the highest standard. The best bed linen ever! Great restaurant. The dinner buffet is filled with both European and Asian delights to awaken your taste buds. Staff are really helpful and polite ... wished I could have stayed longer!
My key reason for 3 stars was 1: location, about 30 mins away from the main city , 2: as a platinum member at SPG felt absolutely no special treatment at all 3: chinese restaurant service was expensive for the city and food average , and service was not good at all 4: rooms are a bit rundown and not kept well , 5: executive lounge had a nice view of the river but also cold and soulless in my opinion , the overall design of the hotel is nice but room need to be better kept , also more international channels for the TV would be good
Stayed there one night for a convention. 1. Quite far away from airport. Arrived late to FuZhou airport and took about 1 hour to drive from the airport to the hotel. 2. Isolated. It is brand new and located in brand new convention meeting center/campus. Not close to central city. 3. The hotel is large and so is the lobby. Checked into a suite which is too spacious for 1 person but the interior decoration are so so and lack characters which seems soulless. 4. Internet is fast, air conditioning is OK. 5. It will be convenient for future convention/congress where it is direct opposite a large convention center. But right now I am not sure how busy that convention center is given its location in FuZhou. May be used as internal provincial or government meetings. One would not stay there as a tourist.
The hotel is very large and the rooms were large. It wasn't as clean as I would have liked. The breakfast buffet is great. And staff was helpful. It's not the greatest hotel, but still well above average for a western hotel in China.
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights because of a conference. It is a great hotel with a lot of potential. Staff is very professional, kind and helpful. Rooms are huge, well designed and stylish. And very clean. The area is very green and from the windows you can see a park with a lake, all walking distance from the Exhibition Centre. A huge swimming pool is available outside. So overall very impressive. I was disappointed by the room service, with very small portions and not great quality. Plus I was hitting the gym every morning but the screen of the equipments were faulty and thus difficult to use. The floor was also pretty dirty. It's a shame because I loved the place and would have loved to give full marks!
Comfortable hotel with large rooms and extremely calm atmosphere (I barely crossed other users/travellers during my multiple stays). Nice buffet restaurant. For some reason, patience required when check-in/out. Business meeting rooms (10 pax) cost 5000rmb+ a day.
Great room, but the temperature in the room did not go below 28 degrees, which spoiled the whole purpose of staying here. The staff checked it two times but did not change anything. Stayed here beginning of april. Check in process with no help, flat out denial of availability of a crib, while it was in the room (Great service in the restaurant though). Do not stay here until they fix the aircon!
Stay was during the China Sporting Goods show 2015. My colleague & I reached on the afternoon of the 1st day of the show. Looks like to hotel was fully booked & so we were offered the option of an upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite. What we got looked like the presidential suite. It was amazing.
Always generous to offer me a huge room whenever I visit this hotel, no complaint about the room but often there are people smoking in the lobby which is very unpleasant. But in China, especially T2 city, you can't expect everyone has the discipline.
Our plane was diverted due to weather and China Airlines selected this hotel. It was excellent. The bed was perfect and the linens yummy! I joked it would be the best hotel of the trip and the one we would spend the least time being in. In the six hours I was there it was bliss. Great big huge bath tab with marble and bath salts. I would stay there if I am ever again in Fuzhow
