My first issues was I have was that Before I even got to the hotel my card was charged for the first night. Never once did I authorize this charge note did I approve of this. 2. Upon checking in after midnight I was exhausted after driving 7 hours from out of state, and I heard screams from another hotel room and I felt absolutely unsafe and uneasy. I debated on calling 9-1-1 but also I was so in fear for my own life of what might be happening. I had two nights I booked and I was so terrified I left the next day and didn’t come back. I tried explaining this to the hotel staff and she said that since I booked through a 3rd party company there wasn’t anything she could do. I would have to take any issues up with Expedia. So I want a full refund of my hotel stay. The entire reason I had to North Carolina was to say my last goodbyes to my sister who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and instead of my sole focus being on her I had to worry about if I was going to be murdered in my hotel room and be in fear for my life. This is absolutely ridiculous.

This hotel is in need of a makeover. It just looks old. The night clerk that checked us in wasn't very friendly. He acted like he didn't want to be there. He answered our questions with mostly one word answers. He didn't greet us and had poor customer relation skills. The rest of the people that manned the desk were very friendly and helpful.

The room was blah but suitable for my needs this visit. Definitely needs some upgrades. Please note that the vending machines are cash only and only 1 of them worked this go-round. Beds are on metal frames and quite noisy if you forget and kick the bottom. If you are looking for a place to lay your head this will suit your needs for your visit.

Our room was ok, we were out a lot visiting family but it was very dated, we had to plug our chargers for our phones into outlets in sconces on opposite side of room from the bed, no place to plug in on end tables on either side of bed and neither of the reading lights attached to headboard worked. The staff was very nice.

Too expensive for what you get, old hotel with weed smelly stairways, the bed frame is sheet metal and breakfast is more than sad, I didn’t eat it. This is more like a 50 dollars hotel.

The room was clean, quiet. Very friendly staff. The breakfast needed more food variety and quantity. The transactions were very friendly and efficient. This review reflets a replacement room that was granted because the original room of the reservation had 3 issues that made it impossible to stay.
