The room was comfortable but did not have a bathroom. Kitchen was shared for the whole hostel, bathrooms on each floor, 2 toilets yo be shared with the whole floor. Showers a bit mouldy, doesnt get very hot and water temperature and pressure not consistent. Broken taps at the sink. Charges for towels, toothbrushes and laundry charge was more expensive than other nicer hostels i stayed at. Room was comfortable and warm though.

I like the view of Mount Fuji just outside of the premise. But the corridors, staircases, and toilets were too cold to my mom and my liking. The shared kitchen was quite neat and clean, the shower and toilet was clean. The room was clean as well

This hotel is a great option for travelers on a budget who are looking for a traditional Japanese experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the views from the windows are beautiful. The shared bathrooms and showers are well-maintained and clean. The community shared kitchen is huge and well-stocked, making it easy to cook your own meals. The shared dining and living rooms are a great place to relax and socialize with other guests. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay in Kawaguchiko. The traditional Japanese room experience is a great way to learn about Japanese culture, and the shared kitchen and living rooms are a great way to socialize with other guests. I especially appreciate the great communication with the hotel staff. They were very responsive to my emails and were able to accommodate my request for a late check-in. I also appreciate the community shared kitchen and living rooms. It was a great way to meet other travelers and learn about their experiences in Japan.
