me, my husband and son, who is a wheelchair user. Hotel was a big bigger than i thought when booking but it was very accessible for wheelchairs, our room was very spacious and ideal for the wheelchair. The buffet food was ok, but the service was great, all waiters and, bar staff and front of house staff were very friendly at all times, even when it was really busy. Entertainment was ok not much for young adults. Main bar area at night was a little small but I expect during the summer they use the outside stage. Location was good, right by the sea but about a 15 minute walk to the beach along the promenade but we found a shorter way using the street and a lane, but walking the long way in the evening was lovely. Near the British quarter, loasds of british bars and restaurants.

We having being going to this hotel for a few years, the staff are fab, miss Yazza in the Bar as she gives you normal amounts of alcohol that you can actually drink, when the other lady does them you get a full glass of alcohol no pop not nice, and Yazza is a lovely and jolly person she brightens up our nights. The Food is all good just the french fries (chips) of a night was rubbish, loved all the different rices. My biggest Moan is the Pool and pool area, it is freezing its a joke, none of us would go in, once was enough, we also have disabled children who have mental plates in their legs and it was that cold they was in terrible pain, the little kids wouldn't go in, this really lets this hotel down, we was told it was 24c in there, (more like -24) The area where the pool and sun loungers are needs to be cleaned a bit more, the floors where disgusting, this has never been a problem all the other years, It seems Thomas Cook has took over the hotel and making cuts already (not good) and the price has gone up again but nothing new and no extra stars. Next door is going to be a Jet 2 4* Heated pool, air con, A/I, sea view for the same price. Thomas cook being greedy Tut Tut and they have took the Saturday Flights off in Dec. I must also say this was the best year with the kids club and entertainment team.

The best thing about this hotel is its location, staight onto the sea front, which is a beautiful walk to the marina and beach. Rooms were clean, but we didn't get the room we booked, meaning we were left with one child sleeping on the sofa. We did complain about this but you might as well as talk to yourself, the reception staff want nothing to do with complaints and the hotel duty manager will not even acknowledge you. Food is good and there was always plenty regardless of the time you went to the restaurant. There was always something my picky eaters would eat, always a good range. The most disappointing end to a good holiday was the theft of my son's IPhone out of the room, while we were at breakfast. We reported to reception but again they would not do anything, the cleaner had been in while we were at breakfast but they would not speak to them, they refused to call the manager or the police about it. I was met with a total blank and would not even give me the phone number bar for the police.

This hotel did not disappoint, the location is perfect and in easy walking reach of the centre & marina. The rooms are perfectly adequate and ours had a sea view with a modern interior and recently refurbished bathroom that was welcoming, clean and fresh. The lighting in the restaurant has been well thought out to be relaxing and the staff are always attentive to serve drinks to the table and to promptly clear plates, also worth noting that the food was always piping hot and freshly prepared. The pool was adequately warm and immaculately clean. We had the most exceptional weather for our 7 night stay (dec 20-27) I know you can't book from a brochure cloudless sunny skies however the weather teamed with the exceptional level of customer care and attention we received from our stay here at this hotel has exceeded expectation and we intend to return back to CdF and stay in this hotel again.

Arrived Boxing Day,was pleasantly surprised of location at sea front.Rooms basic but on hine site could have selected better when booking.Hotel clean throughout and all staff pleasant and helpful during our week stay.Entertainment not everyone's cup of tea but animation team worked hard. The shows brought in where generally good.Plenty to choose from in buffet restaurant and was always good.Great hotel pity they couldn't make the weather better. 🙄

What can I say about this pleasantly surprising hotel. We have just returned from a fantastic week over Christmas and already looking to book again this year!! We had an absolutely fabulous time, the rooms are cleaned daily, they are big and spacious, the food was amazing, the hotel was ideally situated close enough to walk to local shopping centres and the beach and harbour. Kids even swam with sealions on Christmas Day. The only negative were that the entertainment for kids over 12 was pretty much non existant and the evening entertainment required a lot of imagination. The Thomas Cook rep was pretty useless but the actual staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and pleasant. They were what hospitality is all about and the hotel should be extremely proud of them! Mercedes in reception was just so friendly and made each and every guest feel like they were the only person in the restaurant. Fabulous place and would have no hesitation in recommending to everyone I know.

Stayed over Christmas. Rooms excellent and cleaned every day. Food excellent, went all inclusive, good choice of food and some.cooked fresh every day. Ate out couple of times, had steak out but it wasn't as good as the one cooked freshly in hotel. All staff helpful and friendly, went out of their way to make your stay a happy and comfortable one. Nothing was too much for them. I have never seen a more cheerful workforce throughout. A special thank you here to Mercedes. If you have kids the entertainers are excellent too. All in all this was a brilliant holiday and I would love to stay at the Antigua again.

I am going to keep this short and sweet as I do not have any bad things to say. We spent Christmas here and arrived back home yesterday. I didn't want to come home!!!. Amazing food, amazing staff fantastic weather and only 10 minutes from the airport. This Hotel should definitely be a 4 star. Such a great holiday we have booked to go back in March, counting down the days :) :)

Just returned from a fantastic xmas holiday.I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff fantastic, special mention to Emma in the pub and Mercedes in the restaurant. The animation team fab too.We really enjoyed our stay. The food great rooms lovely.Only slight criticism pool bit cold. That said would return tommorow. My kids 16,13,9,3 They all loved it .

Stayed here 12th to 19th December all inclusive.. ROOM - We were on honeymoon and I had e-mailed ahead to ask for a quite ROOM with a sea view. We were in ROOM 2238 at the side of the hotel directly looking into the hotel next door which is being renovated it did however have a side sea view. The renovation works start about 7am and continue until around 5pm. This wasnt an issue for us as we are early risers and were out of our room the full day. I would imagine if you were self catering it would not be great as it's very loud and you wouldn't want to sit out on your balcony. The hotel left us complimentary wine and a fruit basket for our honeymoon which was a nice touch. CHECK IN - Very quick and Fatima was very helpful and welcoming FOOD - The restaurant and staff are amazing. The staff welcome you like you're part of the family and are always smiling and helpful especially the lovely lady who takes your room number when you walk in, she has a smile for everyone. The food - OMG what can I say. People who are complaining about skinny chips and chicken nuggets need to get a life. Breakfast has everything you could possibly want from full English to continental to pancakes... Lunch - you could have snacks like hotdogs, burgers, stews, meat, salad, fish, fruit, cake, loads of rices, soup, different types of potatoes ( boiled, chipped, wedges mash etc) They even make their own homemade chicken nuggets and fish fingers which are much healthier. And the desserts are fantastic and loads of choices. Dinner - Themed evenings seemed to be the thing e.g. Canarian, Mexican, Asian etc. There is always plenty to choose from ... I even tried Shark one night. People who are moaning about the food probably have no imagination. ENTERTAINMENT - Every night is different. Spanish dancers, live bands, magician, karaoke ( I was Gloria Gaynor - and I did survive ) the ENTERTAINMENT TEAM are fantastic and deserve a pay rise !! 😆 They are always smiling and making sure people have fun. There's loads of games and competitions during the day which is great. We even bumped into one of them at the airport on the way home and were greeted with her shouting Shazza at me lol... In a nutshell a holiday is what you make of it and we made sure we enjoyed every minute of our break away. We have never been to a hotel where every member of staff seems happy, professional and determined to make sure you have the best holiday ever. Please pass on our thanks to them and we will definately be back...
