we stayed 2 weeks which included christmas week returning 30th dec . the hotel was so clean, grounds well maintained, rooms were wonderful, clean towels and cleaned everyday. the staff were so friendly. the restaurants were so good but the gala dinner on christmas day was something else congratulations to the head chef and the whole team an amazing job well done. the only thing that was a problem was the beer not very good also the pools could be a little warmer but this would not prevent me from going back to this wonderful hotel thank you all for a brill hol at christmas time xxx

When we arrived we were checked in very quickly only to then be told at 4pm our room needed to be checked by the head of house keeping,Not what we wanted to hear after a very long day travelling,Half an hour later the room was ready.Room was lovely&spacious no problems at all apart from dirty water from a leak under the sink,went onto the balcony where there was a palm tree straight in front with branches actually filling the balcony I was concerned they would poke my children in the eye,needs attention as dangerous also there was lots of bird poo on the balcony that was never cleaned our whole stay,rooms were also not cleaned until at least 4pm.Public areas&pools very clean,upon check in I was told 2 of the big pools were heated this wasn’t true as they were freezing my children wouldn’t go in.Entertainment team fabulous&kids disco great&longer than most.Fab supermarket just outside the door.The beach isn’t a beach it’s full of rocks you need to get a taxi to the old town or sand dunes which are fabulous,no sea front to walk on. Negatives: FOOD wasn’t great at all on our 3rd day my daughter was sick&I had the runs the next day my husband had the runs&I kept getting stomach pains for the rest of our stay which really spoilt it,Then I fell in the restaurant on wet floor,I really hurt myself there was no staff around to see&reception didn’t care,Would I return to this hotel NO mainly because of us all been ill.

I have no idea where to start but first Thank you to Angel and Ian and Vatalia who were totally Amazing oh and Lady Gaga lol. Beautiful Christmas holiday I cannot of wished for a better holiday, beautiful grounds and very well looked after all the pools were amazing and nice and clean. My room was very spaceous for 3 adults and my 12 year old son. The food was amazing I am a fussy eater but always for something and the Asian resturant is deffo a must. The hotel manager was always chatting with guests and also serving Honey rum round the pool, we thought this was an amazing personal touch. We had a fantastic Christmas and new year and will deffinatly booking again, From bar staff to cleaners, room maids, reception and the best entertainment staff Well Done cannot thank you all enough. See you all soon xxxxxxxxxx

We stayed between Christmas and New Year and it was a good holiday. I often find a few extra details are helpful so here goes. We were in a junior suite room number in the 5000's which is near to the quiet pool however the pool is in the shade all day (probably 4 beds were not), this was not an issue as it was overcast for most of the time but it is worth knowing. Our patio was also in complete shade under a tree next door to the spa. I moved one of the chairs to the front of suite by the front door so we could have a little sunlight. The room was better than expected, good size bed and walk in wardrobe. There was also 2 usb sockets for charging phones/ipads so we didn't need the extra adaptor- handy The shower was a good size , good power and nice and hot. Wifi was a little unpredictable, they called the engineers out on day 2 as the maintenance man could not resolve. Food, lots of it, very varied. My preference was not the buffet but instead the Spanish restaurant that was in my view 5 star but the bookings went quickly and we only by chance got a last minute slot. You are only able to book in to one of the 2 restaurants (Spanish and Asian) between 9 and 10am. Entertainment mostly for children although did try yoga twice, evening entertainment was not really adults. Some drinks are in the all inclusive but even when they are not they are very reasonably priced Taxi to town 5euro. Beach near hotel not that great sadly, not sure why I had visions of long sandy beaches, it was a bit rocky near hotel

This Hotel was fanatstic after reviews I was not really looking forward to this Holiday. When I got to the Hotel I was so happy immaculate receptionand rooms. They Constantly walk around cleaning the grounds. Fanatstic for my 4 year old he loved the park and entertainment and made lots of friends even tho he didnt attend the Mini club. Lots of food options in the Gaudi perfect for families. Also dined in the Ramatan. Lunch and breakfeast were also really good. Perfect for young families the animation team were so good with children and happy at all times. Weather was nice for December 22c. Would definatley return.

Hello In all the 30 Years of Travel I have done this is the worse hotel I have visited. Here are my issues: Please note this hotel states 4 stars but it’s really a 3 stars service you will get, 1. There are Cockroaches in the main restaurant. One landed on my arm. Thomas Cook say this is common. Well it’s not common for me! 2. All inclusive food, there is not much to choose from! Be prepared to be disappointed in every way. 3. The food is cold, you get a warm plate, walk around the buffet to choose your food and sit down, by the time you do that, it’s barely warm, this is because apparently, how the locals eat there food. It’s not heated according to the health and safety standards, it’s heated according how the locals eat there food, barely warm, luke warm. This is what Thomas Cook told me. Did you know bacteria thrive in Luke warm food. 4. Don’t bother complaining to Thomas the Guest Relationship Manager, he will listen but won’t do anything about your complaint. 5. There is a building site next door, it’s been there since 2008, they build the floor to high, the owners were told to take a floor down. This was too expensive and so the owners left it there. The building site is opposite my room and the pool. 6. My room was not ready on arrival I had to wait hours. 7. The pools are supposed to be heated my daughter won’t swim because it’s to cold. 8. The teens kids club was not supervised when I entered the room, it was full off 5 to 10 year old boys playing football on a console, my daughter was put off. 9. Be prepared to wait at reception with guest checking out, even if you want to ask for extra towels in the room, there is no separate q for quick service. You have to wait on customers checking out. 10. Be prepared to stand there at reception and be ignored. No eye contact will be made. 11. Don’t be fool by the spa, I like my spas there is no steam room. I didn’t bother with the spa in the end. 12. A staff member came to my breakfast table and leaned over my breakfast, stopped me from eating, I had to move back to allow this hotel staff member, to get a glass cup, on the other side of the table. She didn’t say excuse me, are you finished with that? and then didn’t go around to where the glass was, she leaned over my breakfast!! Almost putting her chest in my food!!

We stayed in the Premium suites Adult village which was the only saving grace for this hotel. We decided to go Premium as it gave us access to an extra 'Adult only' restaurants La Scala without the need to book, which was a godsend. Whilst my suite was amazing, there was an ant problem and my only view was the humongous cactus plant which blocked any possible view from my balcony including the sunlight. Overall the food in the buffet restaurants was average at best. It was difficult to get an actual meal as the menu was very disjointed and food was cold. I've no idea who they're catering for as it just wasn't cohesive on any level. However, I can't praise the staff enough as they were friendly and helpful. We were drawn to the hotel because of the extensive A La Carte restaurants mentioned on the website. However, it doesn't mention that you have to queue at 9 am in the morning to even get a chance of a table or that they block book for two nights, so if you miss out on Day 1, your next chance of getting a table would be re-joining the queue on Day 3 of your holiday. When we finally got into the new Spanish restaurant, the Atrium, the staff were surly and unhelpful. We also saw people who obviously knew the staff being given a table when they clearly had not booked, whilst other people were turned away. As an All Inclusive hotel abroad, I would have hoped to be able to sit out in the evening and enjoy a drink with a view which wasn't confined to the four walls of the hotel. Sadly this wasn't the case as all pool bars close at 6 pm which isn't mentioned in any brochure. As there is no sea view, you are left with the choice of either the Bar Plaza which resembled a charmless airport lounge and the foyer of the hotel. As an adult superior room guest, the marketing blurb implies that a late check out will not be a problem. As we were on a late evening flight, this was a big selling point for us. It couldn't have been more wrong! The older lady on reception wouldn't even engage with us and replied abruptly that there were absolutely no rooms. That evening we spoke to the reception night staff who advised there could be a chance of a late check out. The following morning, a different receptionist altogether allowed us to keep one room on. Just unnecessarily unhelpful behaviour from the initial staff member. The hotel does not back onto the sea as the photo would imply and is certainly not only 50m from the sea. Whilst it isn't a marathon, you do have to walk around a housing estate to get to the sea. The marketing info also implies that the hotel has some sun loungers on the beach, however these are public loungers which are for hire. When we enquired with the reception staff we were advised that there was no 'special' area on the beach for our hotel guests. Whilst Jet2 has added the Cocoa Beach Lounge as one of the restaurants on offer at the Suite Hotel Atlantis, this is misleading as it is not part of the All Inclusive deal and has no connection to the hotel at all. However, it's the nicest place to eat and drink in the vicinity and we ended up paying to dine out most days. However, this also closed early evening which is a real shame as it would have been the perfect evening venue offering great food and cocktails with an amazing view. Finally, it was a typical holiday nightmare trying to get a sun lounger unless you wanted to get out of bed at the crack of dawn to beat the towel race. The beds are rammed in tightly together in some parts of the premium area making it a less than premium experience. The brochure also mentioned the Premium Adult suites had safes, but failed to say you had to pay for the use! Just appalling for a supposed 4* hotel. Overall a hugely disappointing experience for a holiday which cost £1200 for a week! I went to Aruba for the same price and had a 5* experience. For me the Suite Hotel Atlantis sounds amazing on paper but completely fails to deliver.

I stayed here in December and I have to say the hotel is stunning and the staff are amazing. They are so friendly and attentive and take great pride in their work. I stayed in the Adult only Premier area and it was perfect. I would highly recommend for anyone staying without children. The pool area is beautiful and access to La Scala is worth the extra you pay. The junior suite are of a high standard with everything there that you need, a lot of thought has obviously gone in to providing all the lovely touches that makes this hotel somewhere special. I have never returned to the same hotel before, but I will definitely return here in the future and already friends are thinking of staying here.

We have recently returned from our little getaway and I can’t express how much the hotel more than exceeded our expectations. The rooms were beautifully presented. The food was lovely (especially on Christmas Day) the staff were on point. I’m not very good at remembering names however Nino at reception was so helpful. We all loved our stay especially our children who loved the swimming pools (it was a bit cold for me so I kind of dangled my legs in to keep them quiet!) would I recommend this hotel? A definite yes! Thanks for making our holiday a memorable one.

I’ve recently returned from this lovely hotel,couldn’t fault it,we stayed in the premium suites which were very nice and peaceful,just what we wanted ,the rooms were spacious and spotless,the bed was really big and comfortable,we ate all our meals in the premium restaurant,breakfast and evening meal which was great you have two main choices plus there is a hot buffet ,didn’t bother with lunch in any of the other restaurants so I cant comment on them,check in was quick and smooth all staff were very friendly,you have a very big safe in your room,biggest I’ve had payable at 17.25 Euro per week which I understand it is soon going to be free in premium ,you get dressing gown and slippers if you like that sort of thing ,wi fi is a bit hit and miss in your room , of the options it gives you when logging in the best and easiest way is logging in through face book ,the plaza area is nice in the evenings to sit and chill,it approx 30 mins from the airport ,the sun beds around the pool have matteress on them very comfortable ( only in premium) if your after a week or two just to chill and relax this is the perfect place ,I loved it ignore the reviews about cutting your wristband off at checkout,it looks like they have stopped doing that ,I didn’t see anyone with one cut off so you can still get a drink or something to eat until your transfer,the staff are a credit to this wonderful hotel,I wouldn’t hesitate in returning
