Suite Hotel Atlantis Fuerteventura Resort - All Inclusive

4.0 out of 5.0

Had a suite which was superb, only failing no tea, coffee etc. In the room but kettle and cups provided as was a fridge. Very comfortable bed. Good selection of food at all meals, anybody going hungry must be extremely fussy. More parental supervision required in the buffet restaurant as children were picking up food and putting it back down. Hotel very well maintained, lovely gardens. Reception helpful. Not as close to the beach as believed. Biggest downfall, well out of the main town with no local bus service but walkable.

Have just returned from a relaxing 2 week break at this hotel in the premier adults only section. For adults only there is a separate al la carte restaurant with good quality food that is fairly varied. Waiter service was very nice and front of house Monique was always welcoming and approachable. Breakfast is also served in this adult only restuarant. However lunch is served in the general restaurant which is noisy and somewhat unwelcoming with a menu that lacks variety on a daily basis. There is an adult only bar and special mention must go to the bar man Diego who was so lovely I could have taken him home with me! The adult pool had superior sun loungers which were kept immaculately clean and there was also an area with Balanese sun beds which were a dream. The room was spacious and was well looked after by our room attendant Veronica who took great pains to make sure our stay was comfortable. The grounds are beutiful and well maintained and there is even a hotel cat who can be persuaded to accept a friendly stroke or two. The downsides of the hotel are in the general areas which can be noisy and the main plaza area was very crowded and smokey during the evening. The evening entertainment was not of a professional standard and was not well attended. Overall the premier section offers a relaxing holiday in very pleasant surroundings.

I have visited this hotel 4 times now and every time I have been have never had to complain once. They have recently refurbished the rooms and it was a big improvement from my last visit. The staff throughout the hotel from the cleaners to the bar staff were extremely polite and very welcoming and always happy to accommodate any request I made. The rooms are cleaned every day and are spotless as well as all of the amenities. The location of the Hotel is situated in an area which is accessible to the shops and they organise a coach to the beaches. Cannot thank the staff enough it was a wonderful holiday. Thank you to all.

Booked with We were the first drop off and the last pick up to/from airport. Arrived late at night and straight away the reception staff offered us to drop our bags and go for a late dinner. You are given a ticket to collect a beach towel from the spa, which can be changed once during a 7 night stay. 25 euros per person per night for an upgrade to the adults only rooms/area. For what we could see from those who had upgraded, you dont really get much for your buck, so I wouldnt bother. Room - we had a 1 bedroom suite with living area (folded the sofa down into a 3rd bed) rooms are very clean, towels are provided in the room and are changed whenever you want. There is a fridge in the room (handy for keeping water and after sun) and a kettle - but no coffee/milk.. Food - The main restaurant is great for breakfast/lunch and dinner, providing a wide range of food to cater for all. There is a separate adults only section to sit in if you want to escape the kids. Self service drinks including beer/wine is a plus. Oh and you can have a cheeky wee bucks fizz/ cava at breakfast. Loads of staff clearing up to make sure the place is spotless. There are 2 a la carte restaurants. Spanish restaurant - not worth a visit, very disappointed in this. thought the food options were poor. Allowed 1 visit per week Asian restaurant - lovely, could eat here every night if we could. Only allowed 1 visit per week There is a premium restaurant (you need to pay the extra for this) there is a glass window that you can sit in the plaza and watch folk eating (its a bit like a gold fish bowl) quite funny and everyone looked miserable so not sure how good this is. Entertainment - as good as it can be for holiday. the professional shows are great. The entertainment team are all fab and try to get you involved in activities - stay away from the main pool if this isnt your thing. If heading out soon take Emily (think that was her name) (English rep) some crumpets, its the one thing she misses from home! At night- The main plaza is the place to head to at night, it is next to the evening entertainment theatre and the disco. The bar men are brill and can whip up a number of cocktails that taste yummy. The disco is great, although it was always empty - open to 1am. Pools - if no kids then head to the relax pool. no games or noise allowed!. its next to the spa. If you have kids then you have a choice of 5 other pools. Inflatables are allowed so you might want to head to the pound store before you fly out Coco beach - headed round for a look one day, looks nice but its next to the naked hotel... It a pier for adults only with day beds that you can chill out on. The hotel is within easy walk of the shops. There are a couple of markets that happen throughout the week, check the reception board out for details. The hotel runs free buses to the beach - ideal They also run a bus to Oasis Park (zoo) - def arrange a trip here, its one of the best zoos that I have ever been to. Checking out - check out is 12pm our flight wasnt until the evening so we paid 10 euros each to extend our all inclusive and use the shower room (late check out wasnt available) Overall its a great hotel, would def go back!

The holiday was everything we expected having read the majority of the previous reviews. The room was spacious with plenty of room for clothes and a nice bathroom with a step in shower. We asked for a quiet area and ended up with a room that had one of the five pools that was a relax pool which meant there was no inflatables with children making a lot of noise. We are fussy eaters and we found plenty of choice of what to eat. As what people previously had said it is about a twenty minute walk to the town and plenty of different shops to look at and cafes to eat and drink if you wanted a change.

Have I stayed in nicer hotels? Yes Would I stay here again? Yes Weighing everything up I would definitely stay at this hotel again as the small things that annoyed me were well over shadowed by the good things. The hotel is a good 10 minute walk from the nearest shopping centre and is about 20 mins from the busy street in town. There is a beach opposite the hotel accessed through the beach club but this is not as nice as the dune beach. You can upgrade to the adults only section but our tour operator didn't offer this and the review is based on the general areas. The good things: # The rooms are as they look on the photos. They have recently been renovated and contain a large bed which consists of two singles pushed together, a sofa area, plenty of storage and a lovely shower. # The shower in my opinion deserves its own mention. It's a large walk in shower and has a choice of rainfall head or hose. There is always plenty of hot water at any point of day and you don't see a dip in the pressure of temperature at peak times. # The staff are all friendly and I did not come across a single miserable person all week. The waiters, the bar staff and the receptionists were all polite, friendly and knowledgeable. The security guard at the hotel entrance even announces where the coaches are going that turn up at the hotel so you're sure to get on the right one. # The hotel put on coaches to the dunes/beach free of charge 3 times a day. Just hop on outside the hotel and you're picked back up where you're dropped off late afternoon. # There were plenty of sun loungers to go around and there were still plenty available all day so you didn't need to get up at the crack of dawn. # The food in the Spanish restaurant (Atrium) was outstanding. It's a buffet for starters and then a la carte for mains and deserts. You can go once a week on the AI. # The hotel grounds are well maintained and the whole place including the pools are spotless. # There is an animation team who work around the main pool by the Asian restaurant during the day. They are friendly and put on a good variety of games. # The wifi is decent, works all around the resort and is free. The niggles: # Your AI wrist band is cut off at midday on your last day unless you pay an extra €10 per person. I have never had my AI cut off before and it feels like penny pinching. We went to the beach for the day and ate at La Tasca on the beach front for the same money. # There is a kettle in your room with two cups, however no tea/coffee/milk is provided. Just seems strange to me - either provide items to make drinks in the rooms or take the kettle away. Just seems disjointed and pointless otherwise. # There is an electronic safe in the wardrobe but you have to pay to use it. You need to get a magnetic stick from reception to make it work at the cost of €2.50 per day. This just seems like penny pinching again. Most hotels nowadays allow you the use of a safe to keep your passport and money safe free of charge. # The food in the buffet is average, with some littles gems you need to discover. There are fresh cook stations each day for meat and fish and these are definitely worth visiting, otherwise it just seems the same thing day in day out. There are a lot of pork dishes, so some days if you're not a fan or fish or pork you're left with very little protein choice. They do a lunch time bbq twice a week at the Asian restaurant which was amazing. I don't know why this isn't done more often as the food was delicious and wee wouldn't have seen it if we hadn't have hung around the main pool each day. As you can see they are only little niggles that could make this hotel great.

We stayed here for a week from the 7th June 2017 to 14th June 2017 and had an amazing time. Check in was very smooth, being greeted by a very friendly lady on reception. We had booked to stay in a premium room, which was in an adults only area of the resort. This gave us access to a private pool area, premium lounge and a premium only restaurant. Room was very nice; 2 comfy single beds pushed together to make a double bed, large lounge area and very clean / modern bathroom. Resort grounds were kept very clean, and well looked after. We had 5 pools to choose from including the private pool in the premium area, a quiet pool, the activity pool and 2 others dotted around the resort. Plenty of sunbeds to choose from, never had an issue finding a bed at any time of the day. Food and drink was pretty standard for all inclusive, pretty much same selection of food everyday in the buffet restaurant, Asian restaurant was very nice! just a shame you can only access this once a week. Drinks were also what you expect from all inclusive however not all drinks on the menu are included. Animation team were nice and friendly, interacting with guests with daily activities. Evening entertainment was very disappointing. All professional shows were very amateur and tacky. No variety, all dancing shows. I thought the location of the resort is ideal, as it is only a 10 min walk from the main strip with all the shops, bars and restaurants. 20 minute walk to the port / old town where you can get a ferry to Lanzarote. Also hotel puts on a free shuttle bus 3 times a day to the sand dunes which were a 10 minute drive away. This hotel deserves it's 4 star rating, and i would definitely consider this hotel when i return to Fuerteventura.

I stayed here for a week in may. Stayed in rhe adult only section and all i can say is that this was perfect for me as a single traveller. The room was amazing and always clean. The food at the adult restaurant was excellant with a choice of meat or fish dish everynight. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I am already looking to return in september for another week of relaxation in the sun.

Stayed here for a week with my boyfriend from the 6th June 2017-13th June 2017. Never stayed in Corralejo, Fuerteventura before and found it quite a quiet island so if you want a peaceful holiday then this is the place for you. There town which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel has a shopping centre with a range of shops including Zara and a few food places including Burger King. We went to the waterpark which is round the corner from the hotel and about 4 euros if you got a taxi there. Quite a bang average waterpark, been to a lot of waterparks where they are bigger and more action packed but for a quiet island that is Fuerteventura this was fine. We were going to do Oasis Park but because the zoo is on the other side of the island the coach would pick us up from the hotel at 8:30am and would drop us back at the hotel around 7:30pm bit of a long trip just for the zoo so we gave it a miss. The animation team at the hotel were amazing!! You can tell they are passionate about their jobs and always seem to have a smile on their face which is nice to see. The animation team would try their hardest to get you involved in as many activities as possible which can be hard especially when most people want to chill on a sun lounger all day. The food for me was 50/50, some good days and some bad days. I found the best food was at the pool bar during lunch time. They supplied everything from fresh chicken kebabs to hearty American food of burgers and hotdogs. Ice Cream and the soft drinks were self serve so you could help yourself all the time which I found easier as it prevented queues. Hotel room was immaculate and cleaned daily by the house keepers. Air con and fridge were free but you have to pay extra for the safe which occurs in most hotels so wasn't a big deal. Gym was also free and wasn't busy. The hotel also offer a free shuttle bus hourly to Olivia Beach which is a beautiful beach and only a 15 minute drive away so not too far. I found this hotel quite family orientated and not many couples. There was an adults only pool as well as a the main restaurant sectioned off for adults only too. Overall Corralejo is a beautiful place and the scenery is amazing. The hotel itself is definitely worth it's 4 stars.....thanks for having us.

We spent a week here in early June 2017 as a couple and had a lovely relaxing week. The resort was relatively quiet, perhaps the time of the year but we liked this Check in: greeted with glass of bubbly which was a good first impression Room: We had a junior suite which was huge. Large comfy bed, sofa/lounge area and bathroom all very clean and up to date. Small patio area outside. All good. Pools: Plenty to choose from, quiet pool, main pool and a few smaller ones. My only complaint here is that nearly all the sun beds are covered in bird poo and I didn't see anybody trying to clean then. Surely a jet spray in the evening wouldn't be too hard? Luckily there were so many sun beds we could pick the ones with the least bird poo! Drinks: Good for all inclusive. Wine was standard, good cocktails (mojitos my favourite), estrella larger, slushies and standard soft fizzy drinks. The swim up pool bar near the quiet pool was closed all week which was odd. Food: Good variety, always managed to find something we liked. They had choclate fountain one evening which was great. Wouldn't bother booking the Atrium restaurant as the starter and main is buffet anyway and very small choice for main (which wasn't that great anyway). Location: 10minute walk to get to the main strip with all the shops, bars and restaurants. 20-25min walk to the old town and port. Beeches close but most are rocky. Entertainment: lots of dancing and singing, all beautifully tacky. Wouldn't expect anything more. Decent stage and seating. Check out: check out is at midday. You can pay €10 each to keep your wristband for the rest of the day. Shower room to book if you need.
