What a great place, beautiful beaches in both directions direct from the hotel. Food was of excellent high quality with a massive choice and was the best we have ever had in any hotel anywhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel spotless clean

This hotel is well designed for hot weather 2 waterfalls to cool you a few trees and 4 swimming pools. However if you are there when there is heavy rain which is not often you will find some areas slippery and 5 rooms flood. Food starts with full breakfast 08.00 and ends with after dinner with snacks till 01.00. The food is very good and there is a choice of veggie. Booze starts with sparkling wine with breakfast and ends at 01.00 when the bar closes. There is a nightly show and entertainment staff with events though out the day. Don't worry it is not like Butlins. All the staff are friendly and helpful. What do you pay for all this entertainment food and drink? Not a thing unless you want an off island drink. You will want for nothing and on your birthday wine will be delivered to your room.

Iberostar staff make a real effort to make you welcome and comfortable. We were given a welcome drink or two, of 'Bubbly' while we checked in. We were shown to our room and our luggage was taken to our room for us. Special thanks to receptionist Lourdes Ayala and the friendly animation team. Most of the guests here are German. This our third visit to these hotels. 'Gaviotos Park' the front hotel 'we stayed here in four years ago and 'Gaviotos Playa' the seafront hotel we stayed here two years ago. Two years ago we upgraded to a sea view room in Gaviotos Park' we were delighted with the location and comfort of our room, we couldn't have been closer to the sea without us falling in! So decided to upgrade to a sea view room again this time. But when we booked in we were allocated a room looking over the children's playground and could only see the sea by craning our necks. We so so disappointed, We immediately rang reception and they said they would move us in two days. We moved to our desired room on the Monday, with the amazing view of the sea. Then two days later we were offered a room in the 'Star Prestige' area. This was great experience. We had a coffee machine in our 'Star Prestige' room, as a coffee addict this is heaven for me. A direct sea view from our room, sun beds on our balcony, beer and soft drinks in our mini bar, dressing gowns, a bed turn down service and use of all of the facilities of a 'Star Prestige'. Private pool area, cocktails brought to you, snacks brought to you, your own bar. Separate area in the dining room wine and water poured for you, everything for the discerning guest. Only one charging point for phones in all of the rooms we stayed in, which is a bit of a pain. . As before the food was very good. lots of choice for breakfast, freshly cooked omelettes scrambled eggs and fried eggs. as well. As well as fruit, cereals and smoothies and more. There is now a huge 'Nespresso' coffee machine in the dining room, a coffee addicts heaven! The pool bar has an adequate choice for lunch or you can have more choices in the dining room. Evening meal in the dining room has two sittings 6pm and 8pm. Fewer roast meats than previously but lots of fresh grilled fish. Plenty of choice for all tastes. The restaurant has a theme every night. Canaries, Asian, Japanese and so on. Wine from a bottle too, which I think is a nice touch. Chocolate fountain a few nights too for dessert, yum. As well as lots of other dessert choices. Alcoholic drinks from the bars are very varied and generous servings. Or you can help yourself to numerous drinks in the dining room, bar and pool bar. If you like never ending beaches, good food and plenty to drink this is the hotel for you! This is a quiet resort so if you like an active holiday this may not be the resort for you. The island is often windy and a little cool.

well here we go booked this hotel after reading the great reviews on trip never been to a iberostar hotel before we went over the Christmas week arrival all seam to be good lots of people said they were offered a drink we weren't asked about an up grade to a top floor suite with a see view so we paid the additional cost which was disappointing the room was big as was the bathroom but it needs updating very plain décor not what you imagine when you book a suit but I must say the view was very good now the food lots of people said the food was very good with a good selection well we found the food ok but nothing special most of the time it was Luke warm had better at cheaper hotels one other think there is no were to sit outside at meal times you just sat in a drab dinning room the whole hotel needs a make over i am going to see if Gordon Ramsey is free I think there must be two gaviotas park hotels because the trip reviews weren't the one we stayed in we did go to the sister hotel next door which was a lot better but same sort of food would we go back what do you think on a better note the hotel reception team were great and very helpful

We stayed here in January for 4 nights. I'll start with the only bad thing which was the air conditioning! It was better having the balcony door open, we left it on all night & it did nothing! We booked through Iberostar & had already checked in online so when we got to the hotel they have a separate bit on reception where you check in, we were handed champagne & a warm welcome. They had upgraded us to a refurbished room which was lovely! We are really fussy eaters & always had at least 3 things on our plate for dinner & tea. It was nice having dinner at the pool bar as not as formal having it in the dining room. All the staff said hello & made us feel welcome. We had a lovely time.

We have just returned from a one week break at the Gaviotas Park. This was our first return to an Iberostar hotel after eight years. We enjoyed the holiday with many positive points: o All staff our very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble o Entertainment staff were good fun o The hotel is very clean throughout o There is plenty of space and sunbeds available, no need to get up early and reserve (although some people still did) o You can make use of the facilities in the neighbouring ‘Playa’ hotel o The all inclusive drinks variety is excellent o Food choice is generally good (but see point below) o The new years eve gala dinner and entertainment was very good including the very late bar in the Playa hotel However, we did feel that Iberostar need to move with the times, and change its policies particularly with relation to the following: o Charging for a safe in an all inclusive hotel, we hadn’t paid for a safe for years until we stayed here o Extra charges for using the indoor pool, sauna, etc. which should be free except for treatments o Charging a cash deposit for pool towels, surely towel cards should be introduced o Charging for use of the indoor bowling We also found the breakfast food was not hot. A microwave for guest use would easily resolve this, and certainly a new toaster would be welcome as it required the bread putting in three to four times before it was toast! As stated above, food choice was good, however if you like anything spicy you would be disappointed. Maybe a few theme nights (e.g. Mexican, Indian, etc.) would add a bit of variety However, overall a great hotel which we would recommend in a nice area for walking

Stayed for 4 nights with my daughter for a birthday break in the sunshine in January. Booked direct through Iberostar website & checked in online. Arrived at hotel between 12 noon and 1 o'clock and were immediately given our room keys. The room was a junior suite in the 2nd floor and had been refurbished. Everything was very modern in the room and also very clean. All of the staff were very friendly and included you in the activities throughout the day. The food was very varied and the drinks were readily available. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families with children as there were many activities for them throughout the day and night. Best wishes to all the staff for making our break a very enjoyable one. Thank you.

This was our third visit to this hotel so I am only leaving a brief review as I have reviewed it before. The hotel is clean with lovely food and drink, the staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. The hotel is situated at one end of a 2mile long sandy beach ,with shops with in walking distance. We find this hotel ideal for our January break and its nice to enjoy some winter sun and it is a perfect location for a relaxing holiday. The only to minor downsides are that you have to pay £16 a week for the use of the room safe and the is no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms unless you are in a Star prestige room, but these to us are very minor things.

from the minute we walked through the door we were greeted with smiles nothing was to much trouble quick check in and suite cases taken to room 5116 5th floor sea /pool view and what a view.every thing was tip top in room food at all meal times was fantastic choice arrived with man flue so first night could not be bothered to go to restaurant but lewis the hotel manager personally brought us food to the room which we thought was excellent service what a excellent stay at iberostar WELL DONE LEWISE AND TEAME EXELLENT brilliant new year

The room was very good, extremely clean and tidy and kept clean. It was comfortably furnished, with a large bathroom. The view over the bay was very good. though as stated not suitable for people with walking problems. The road at the bottom of the hotel near the beach is actually flat and a 45 minute walk into Jandia. Plenty of shops and bars also would recommend Chinatown great Chinese food and good value for money. The 2 hotels which you can use (Except the Al A Carte) option. The bowling alley was good fun. Bar staff and entertainment team were hard working, and nothing was too much trouble. The gala dinner was extremely good, but the rest of the food was average quite varied but not much good if you like spicy food quite bland normal buffet food.
