A great break at this Hotel, lovely bright & clean apartments in lovely surroundings, with the beach on your door stop. staff were very helpful, good food fab for all the family, i would definitely recommend this hotel.

Bungalow was lovely and clean, bed very comfortable, maid was in everyday with fresh towels and made the beds. Hotel staff go out there way to help you, before we arrived we did get an email explaining that there was road works, our first day we though it wasn't to bad but by the 3rd morning it was horrendous they started at 7.30 in the morning and we thought we just can't go 2 weeks with that noise but the receptionist changed us straight away. entertainment team really nice, we were self catering but speaking with other guests they said it was a very good all inclusive restaurant. very good location next to the beach/restaurants and shops walking distends to everything. We are defiantly going back one of the best holidays we've had.

We've just got home from a week-long stay at this resort and we've had a great time. We were warned of possible disruption outside the hotel (roadworks) before we left home, but we hardly noticed it at all and we were in a room right next to the road. Our apartment was spacious and clean; the room was cleaned everyday and the cleaner was very friendly too. We went all inclusive and weren't disappointed. The food quality and presentation was lovely. I'm vegetarian and there was plenty of choice, which was a pleasant surprise. The rest of the family enjoyed the selection of meats and seafood. The pool and bar areas are clean & tidy. The pools are all salt water rather than fresh water and this made a huge difference to my son's skin: he has eczema and normally swimming makes this worse, but it actually got better after each swim. We would happily recommend this hotel to friends and would go back again.

Excellent comfortable and easy holiday. Booking through Barcelo qualifies you for 5% of vouchers to spend in the resort. Was a lovely added extra and was half board so vouchers covered all of our extra spends!

Great place food was top banana 4 star quality rooms are very spacious and very clean great nightlife the pool is right by the ocean with great views my only complaint could be the air con at night even on full i was not cool enough so sleep was uncomfortable im sure i just had that one room where it was not so great so based on that I'd go again my two boys loved it and so i would recommend going here.

Huge complex! We stayed closed to everything (level 5). Would not have wanted to stay in level 1 or 3. Nice and clean. The pool areas are lovely, but the guy that is trying to get people to join all the activities is a bit annoying! Good food. Staff was friendly and helpful.

As a family group with an age range from 10-70, we enjoyed our time at the Barcelo Castillo Beach Resort and the facilities in the hotel and close by in the port. Our apartments, 2007 and 2108 (1st floor) were very close to the children’s club but a 5 minute walk from the restaurant and main pool area. Both apartments had two room, a kitchenette and a bathroom with outdoor space and good air-conditioning and, although not on the beach, which was just a short walk away. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. Our varying tastes were well catered for by a great selection of food and there was always something for everyone, including food appropriate for those with allergies and intolerances. Bespoke omelettes and tuna flash fried (on request) were highlights, the gazpacho was delicious and the children loved the chocolate fountain! The staff at the hotel were, without exception, excellent and Animation Team was the best we have ever seen, both for daytime activities and the evening entertainment. Led by Willy they struck just the right note and Willy himself has to be the most animated animator ever!! We can’t comment on the children’s club as this facility was not used. The evening entertainments were in the theatre a short walk from the hotel, by the port. This left the bar by the pools as a much quieter area to play games (pool table tennis etc.), drink and chat. Entertainments were concluded by 11:00 pm. We took an obycatamaran trip to Lobos (12 clients) and loved every minute, swimming with fish, using the paddle boards and the kayaks plus the catamaran trip and it’s crew were great and we would highly recommend this. We visited the zoo which, if you like zoos, is very good, but it was a long day and very hot. Two of our party swam with the sea lions next to the hotel in the and loved every moment whilst a favourite activity was the inflatables, also in the sea at the port. Our one negative about the two weeks that we stayed at this Barcelo Castillo Beach Resort was that there were not enough umbrellas available for shade by the pools. That said, we had a brilliant two weeks at this Barcelo and would recommend it to families and more. The bonus on these islands is the breeze, which makes the heat bearable!

A fantastic place to stay, I would recommend to any family to go there. No problems from start to finish, plenty to do. Nothing was ever too much for anyone. Great food great place, all in all fantastic.

Perfect for what I needed. Food gorgeous, room brilliant, always room round the pool... no complaints. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Always had wifi connection. Pool never crowded as there are 4 to choose from. Very happy customer

A good hotel but in peak season the restaurant failed to cope at breakfast.... it was like trying to carry a plate of food through London Underground at rush hour. We had a good trip but changed from half board to b&b as we wanted more than just one restaurant ( thought it was 3 when we booked). Needs s bit of talc in some areas but work is underway.
