Superb oceanfront St. Somewhere is a friend of mine. Located near quiet and calm South Beach, this home has a wonderful dune-top perch at the end of Shoresurf Lane. The ground level has ample concrete parking, a carport, and an outside shower. The first level has a wide oceanfront deck, four bedrooms, two baths, and a laundry room. One bedroom has a private bath and access to an outside deck. The second-level great room boasts a tall cathedral ceiling and a half bath. The kitchen includes a breakfast bar and a dining area and can handle all vacation cooking challenges. A second interior dining table will come in handy for puzzles and reading and can accommodate extra mealtime guests. The living area is comfortable and has a dry bar and exquisite oceanfront views. The outside furnished oceanfront deck can catch the view from the Cape Hatteras Point to the old pier.

Things to know:
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.


Please note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on weather.

House was very comfortable for our family and pet dogs! The best feature was the location. Beach access was right next to the house. There were great views of the ocean from the top deck.Quiet neighborhood and places to walk the dogs.Easy check in and out!

Great house, great location.

House itself was great, and in a great location. (NOTE: there is an access trail directly beside the house for the other members of the community. Not super busy, but it is used by other people. Certainly not a John Candy "Summer Rental" level situation, but something to note). Seclusion is the name of the game here. Not much to do this far south on the islands, but that's the point. Beach is beautiful. House has everything you need in a beach bungalow, but maybe not the bougie style you would expect for the area. Still very nice. Our biggest compliant was with the cleanliness on arrival than with the house itself. It really does need a full steam cleaning head-to-toe. I get that it's a rental house, but if you'd like me to recommend and come back, you'll need to step up the cleaning a bit.

It was our first visit to Hatteras Island and we will definitely return. The view from the livingroom is amazing! Thanks St. Somewhere. We are so glad we found you and enjoyed a relaxing week.

Seaside retreat

We really enjoyed the beautiful great room and the views of the ocean/sky. We enjoy cooking but the utensils, mainly pots and pans, were not good. Some were not useable. We came at the end of the season and a good deep clean would be in order. Found dog hair and dust in lots of places. Also, the sliders in the bedrooms need repair as we could barely use them without effort. Please note the number of stairs in the description. One of the guests had a difficult time with all the stairs.

Amazing views

The location was just what we wanted peaceful and right on the beach. We saw dolphins in the water every day and enjoyed the relaxation. The house was good it was the perfect size for 8 people. It could have been a little cleaner there were some dirty dishes in the kitchen. Make sure you come prepared there are no beach chairs or beach towels at the house. Also no sand toys. All and all it was a great vacation.

Amazing Views

We had a fantastic vacation at this home. The house was set up perfectly for us and included plenty of space for meals and spending time together. The views were spectacular and it was just a short walk over the dunes to the beach. It was never too crowded at the beach which was nice too! We were all sorry to have to leave!

Great Location!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful time in Frisco, NC. Close location to Ocracoke Ferry, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and dining. The house itself could have been cleaner but overall a wonderful stay!
