On the ocean side of the quiet village of Frisco, Deja Blue sits only a few minutes' walk from the ocean, facing the sound for spectacular sunset vistas. At night, admire an unobstructed view of the stars from the top-floor deck as you listen to the ocean waves crashing nearby.

Your visit begins on the top floor, where a grand living room awaits with two massive recliners and an additional leg rest. The main dining room and kitchen offer stainless steel appliances, a gas stove, plenty of seating, a breakfast bar, a center island for meal prep, and a Keurig for an easy cup of coffee in the morning.

The middle level has three bedrooms. Directly outside is a deck with a hot tub to relax you after a sunny day spent on the beach. The lower floor brings out the spirit of competition in the family game room, which features a large pool table, side seating, a TV, and a retro-themed minibar.

The place was horrible from the leaking freezer That was supposed to be repaired on Monday and no one ever showed up to the rats we had to fight to use the pool table not mice large rats to the rat droppings all over the first and second floors to the misrepresentation of the pool to the AC not working on the third floor the last 2 days to the hot tub temperature not working so the door being broke on the second floor to the horrendous beds to the trash that was left from the cleaning crew not cleaning up properly not to mention the pots and pans that were almost unusable bent and dirty this was the absolute worst vacation house I have ever rented in 35 years of renting houses I would absolutely not recommend this house or vacasa the management company to anyone

Everything we hoped for

We really enjoyed our time staying here. There were a total of 8 of us that stayed, but we never felt crowded. The location of the house was great, we could either take a short walk to access the beach or drive 1/2 mile to an access point with showers, restrooms, handicap access and a lifeguard. The property is located away from the major population areas, so the beaches were not crowded at all. Hopefully we get a chance to come back and make more memories at this great place.

Was there for Blackbeard s Revenge 100k run. Enjoy hot tub. One bedroom and bath had no power. It took until the next day to find breaker box. Manger didn’t know where it was.

Great Location & Views

Deja Blue is a great house for families. It was a short half-week visit but the house had everything that we needed. Short walk to the beach. Great views of the Pamlico Sound across the street. Clean, comfortable hot tub. Provided linens and towels were convenient and the interaction with Vacass was great!

I wanted to love it…

House was seemingly very clean, but the carpet had just been shampooed so it soaked socks and when we went barefoot we slipped and slid across the tile floor! The next day the floor was dry. We did see two roaches….one large and mostly dead and one small, very alive. I feel like with a humid beach town, no matter how clean, this can be an issue…but still not fun to see twice. The lift was not working/no actual basket to lift. Being the basket was gone I am assuming they knew it didn't work….which was a big factor in us choosing this property because it didn't have an elevator and we have a family member with a lot of knee and ankle issues. The pool table pocket was gone completely on one corner so improvising had to be done so as not to chase balls all over the room. The internet was in and out the whole time which wasn't a huge deal until someone wanted to watch tv for more than 30 minutes…but it would have been noce to have the wifi so not to eat up our cell data. I called Vacasa the management company and they really didnt seem to care since we checked out said they were sorry would pass it to the local management office. I will say it is a very nice house, well stocked for whatever you need and beautiful yet minimal décor which is great for a family with kids. There is NO walking access to beach unless you walk between other houses, in front and over the dunes but you can drive down the road (maybe 1 to 2 minutes) and have public beach or sound access.

Easy, comfortable stay

The property was just as described. The kids enjoyed the wading pool, and the outdoor furniture on the top deck made for nice mornings and evenings. The furniture was comfortable (minus a few detached dining chair pads), and the open floor plan was great for bringing the kids along. Note: The lift is for owner use only - so if you catch that mentioned in other reviews, don’t get excited to use it like we did 😂.

Off-season quiet family time

Comfortable and close to the beach

We came to relax and be near the water. We were not disappointed! The sound views and ocean air are calming. This home has all you need to just chill and let the stress melt away. The beach access is just around the block. Food and shopping are a short drive in either direction. The kitchen is well stocked with basic necessities and tools to make meals, coffee and even chocolate chip cookies!
