The renovation of this former forge has preserved some elements of the original architecture while offering modern functionality for the accommodation.
Fresse is a village with a dispersed layout, its altitude ranging from 340m to 900m.
Things to do: hiking on the Plateau des 1000 Étangs (Plateau of 1000 Ponds). TGV train station 35km away. Christmas markets in Montbéliard (50km) and Alsace (80km). Sleeps 8. Located in a hamlet in the Vosges Saônoises, this gîte (holiday cottage) is housed in a former forge adjoining the owner's residence. The ground floor comprises: a living/dining area with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with access to the terrace, a walk-in shower, a toilet, and a laundry area. The first floor has: one bedroom (one double bed, en-suite shower room, toilet), one bedroom (one double bed), and one bedroom (two single beds and two bunk beds). Enclosed lawn area; electric/wood heating. Available: baby equipment (high chair, mattress, cot, and baby bath). Raclette and fondue sets. Wi-Fi internet access. UTILITIES NOT INCLUDED. Fishing lodge.
This lodge is certified "Accueil Vélo" (Cyclist Welcome) and is also open year-round. Firewood is provided free of charge for the duration of your stay.

Charges and supplements: electric heating, electricity consumption beyond the included 8 kWh/day. End-of-stay cleaning: €50. Double bed sheets (with towels): €10 per set. Single bed sheets (with towels): €8 per set. The owner will welcome you on site.
