The house, a semi-detached house in the middle of a large meadow plot, on the edge of the forest, offers space for up to 14 people in a cozy atmosphere. Living room with surrounding gallery and access to the covered terrace. With sauna and fireplace, a comfortable holiday is possible in every season.
The house is also suitable for family weeks (end), seminars, birthdays, stag or hen parties, students, high school graduates, ...


We keep donkeys, geese, chickens and two Bernese Appenzeller mix dogs on the farm. Our own fruit from our orchards is the basis for homemade apple juice, must, schnapps, liqueur and jam.
The property is in a restricted traffic area, there is no through traffic.
You are welcome to accompany us on walks with our donkeys or you can be there while baking tarte flambée and bread in our bakery as well as distilling schnapps.
The center of Ottoschwanden with the necessary infrastructure is approx. 7 km away, as is the tourist information in the Kurhaus with indoor pool.

The house is in an excellent location, quiet and yet close to attractions of the black forest. The landlady was very nice. The kitchen is very well equiped, with all you need for cooking and eating your meals at home. There's also a washing machine, that's very helpful if you're traveling for a long time. There's a very nice garden with a courtyard. The only problem was the basement floor. There's a big bedroom there with a shower, but we could'nt be there. It's very cold there and the smell was moldy. It worked out Ok for us because we were 7 persons, and we had enough beds in the ground floor and the first floor for all of us. At the end of the day, we enjoyed very much our stay there. Last advice, beware of the way the gps takes you. The road that it took us for the first time was on steep soil roads.

Familien Wochenende im Schwarzwald

Unser Aufenthalt war durchweg positiv und gelungen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und der hausgemachte Flammkuchen mundete uns allen sehr. Das Haus ist wunderbar geschnitten, mit einer Galerie, wo die mit den vorhandenen Spielsachen spielen konnten. Außerdem war der Wohn-Essbereich durch den kamin sehr gemütlich und es war schön, dass wir aufgrund der Größe und der Wohneinrichtung alle gemeinsam platz fanden.
