This rental was one of the best I have ever had. I was there with two of my sisters and we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The place is really nicely decorated and has everything you need to have a great time. The host even had a beautiful welcome basket for us. There are two different restaurant/bars within 1/2 mile from the house and Lake Charles is only a 15 minute drive for a full size grocery store (HEB). Everything was seamless and we had a great time!

I would give more than five stars if that was a possibility! The house was not only equipped with everything you could possibly need or want, it was also beautifully decorated. Each bedroom was a peaceful sanctuary with super comfortable beds and luxurious linens. The kitchen is as top notch; living room was comfortable and welcoming. The host put together helpful instructions for the house as well as Surfside Beach information. And the absence of stairs was a game changer. We brought a rolling cart and just rolled our luggage and supplies up the comfortable ramp. But, the icing on the cake was being so close to the beach we could hear the waves crashing, smell the sea air and feel the cool breeze from the deck. It was the best place we have ever rented on the Texss coast.

Lovely Accomodations

This property was everything I hoped for, and more! It was so nice to walk in and find a welcoming note and a basket of goodies waiting for us. As promised, it was just a very short walk to the shoreline, so setting up for a day on the beach was a breeze. The views from the deck were spectacular and great for stargazing at night. If you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway, Bliss is the place to go! Becky and Holly are exceptional hostesses!

Great Family Beach Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful time in Surfside. The beach house was clean and fully stocked with towels, linens and a complete kitchen set up for cooking your own meals. We also used the outdoor grill which is very easy to pull in and out of the garage. The owners responded within minutes to any questions and the location was great for extra outings to Pleasure Pier in Galveston and NASA in Houston.

As Advertised

We spent the weekend at this awesome location and it was all we could have hoped for: walking distance from the beach, spacious bedrooms, beautiful deck, fully stocked with all towels/kitchen items/bath . . . basically everything we needed. Restaurants and shops close by. Communication with owner was great. Will be back!

Great Spot for Friends!

We travel with our BFF's often and it's always a flip of a coin to decide who gets the master. This house is wonderful, two en-suites! There is still quite a bit of damage to other houses in the area from hurricane Beryl, so for now, not the best views. But I still highly recommend. They supply things that most rentals don't, pleasant surprise! Their house manual with suggestions for everything from groceries to dining was super helpful! I always find that renting through an owner vs a management company is ALWAYS better!!

Loved staying here!

We loved staying here on a family trip for Labor Day! The location was great - definitely just as great as being front row - beautiful views! The house had everything we needed and was very nice and comfortable, the check in and out process was great, and the owner was lovely and extremely helpful! The ramp up to the house was great also because we could use the wagon to get our stuff up and down so made it much easier! We would love to stay here again!

Amazing Property

This has definitely been one of the best properties we’ve stayed. Everything is beyond perfect, the house looks even prettier in person and I loved how the owner communicate with you the minute you arrive and make everything so easy on you. The house is clean clean that you actually feel like you are sleeping in your own bed because of how clean everything is. The views from the porch are beautiful 😍 We will definitely book this property again.

Great Memorial Day Stay!

My family and I (including 17- and 19-year-old) booked this property for a couple nights over the Memorial Day weekend. Everything was wonderful. It's important to note that, although this property is not TECHNICALLY on the beach, it's actually better than that. The view from the deck is a gorgeous unobstructed view of the beach and the surf, but without all the people right in front of you. It was literally a 45-second walk from the property to the sand. Really nice, clean place with an unbeatable location!

Great Location

This location is perfect. Right on the beach. Everything was very well organized and stocked with everything you need. The best part is that it has a ramp to roll everything you have up the the front door. No climbing stairs. View of the beach is great. Plenty of seating space on the front porch deck. Family getaway

This property was perfect for our family getaway for spring break! The house was spotless, and looked just like the photos. The beach view from the house was beautiful it might have well been beachfront property! We had all of our littles with us and the ease of getting to the beach was so easy and stress free because it's literally steps from the beach. We also had my parents with us who are in their 70's and the ramp access to the house was perfect. I could not have imagined a better set up for our family. Becky, the owner, was wonderful and very responsive with any questions we had. The house is kid friendly with the cabinet locks and pack and play. We will definitely save this spot for a return trip!!!! Easiest trip we have had in a long time from checkin to check out!!!Thank you for being such a great host!!!❤❤❤ - Natalie

Great Location

The location was great. So close to the beach/water. The place is very clean and the beds were comfortable. We loved it so much, we plan on rebooking again in the future. It was very relaxing and the sunrises and sunset were breath taking.
