The Stone Well Haus | Mascota amigable

Esta granja alemana completamente restaurada fue construida en 1920 por Otto Schneider, dueño de la empresa local de envasado y embotellado. Al ingresar a esta propiedad histórica, notará que se llama apropiadamente The Stone Well Haus debido a que está bien ubicado en la sala de estar. El dormitorio principal ofrece el refugio perfecto con una cama king size de hierro y ropa de cama neutra con baño privado. This property was lovely. Well kept home with history. The location was great and the staff we interacted with was well past accommodating. Our group would gladly stay here again. The price was great and felt it reflected the value of our stay. Not to mention our pup was welcome and had just as much fun getting to join us for the trip.

House was very nice and comfortable. Great location. Cistern access against the back of the house was not secure. It was a concern with daytime visiting grandkids. Half of back yard was Khaki Weed, stickers attached/tracked in by pets.

All the comforts of home

We had an awesome stay at this great property. The hose had everything we needed for a great getaway weekend. The house is super dog friendly, which was great for us. Backyard is great for drinking a glass of wine and relaxing.

Loved this sweet house!

We very much enjoyed our stay here! It was walking distance to Main Street which was great for our kids (14 & 11). The home was very clean and comfortable. It was also decorated for Christmas which I didn’t necessarily expect, but was wonderful. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a home In Fredericksburg.

House very comfortable and decorated nicely. Original creaky wood floors. Well in the den is fun to look at. Convenient location. Den furniture is a little tattered but nice. Bathrooms updated and nice. Kitchen well stocked and clean. Overall really liked the place.

Perfect place for the weekend

Absolutely beautiful home. Myself and 5 other girls stayed for the weekend and we all wanted to remodel our houses like this one. Very nice inside and out with plenty of room. Bathrooms and kitchens were very nice and the owners thought of everything.

New favorite

Fredericksburg is one of our favorite Texas destinations. We have stayed in various Sunday Houses but the Stone Well will be the home we keep coming back to. We loved everything about the home. It's spacious and clean, has great amenities and is in a charming old neighborhood a short walk from Main Street. Being able to bring our dogs made it extra special.

Wonderful weekend holiday getaway

We reserved this house with another family for the holiday parade weekend, and it was perfect! A bedroom for each couple and one for the kids. It was nicely appointed and we had everything we needed including snacks and dishes. Everything in the house worked, it was immaculately clean, beds were comfortable, would definitely stay here again. The upstairs bedrooms are on different sides of the stairs which allowed for some privacy from the kids which was nice. Highly recommend this lovely home!

Great location, lovely house!

This is a beautifully renovated house and is very well stocked with all the necessary amenities. We really appreciated all of the dog friendly touches with this property. Location is wonderful and it is pretty easy to walk to the main drag in town. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. There were a few cleanliness issues that could be improved, but I am maybe overly observant about these things and it is fine for most other folks. The management team is very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay at this house!
