We really enjoyed our trip to Settlers Crossing. It is a very unique property in a good location. It's certainly a peaceful getaway and checks the box for a rare type a vacation property. The only negative was that there were lots of sandspurs throughout the property. There's no rolling in the grass, as these will stick in your clothes, shoes, and body and they're a nuisance. I do absolutely recommend the place and would certainly enjoy a repeat trip. The roaming animals and seclusion from staff and other guests makes for a great place to get away for a little while. All with the benefit of having dozens of wineries, Fredericksburg, and Luckenbach just up the road.

Loved the cabin. However, it was difficult to find. Very poorly marked coming off the highway (for older people, anyway). Would also be of great benefit if the cabins were identified . i only had the name of our cabin -we hoped we were at the right one ! Enjoyed the quite and the animals. The breakfast was some pastries - they were ok but not great.

Enjoyed my stay at this property .. The property with wildlife was very enjoyable.. If ever in Fredericksburg again I will stay here ..

Fun vacation. Beautiful old little cottage in lovely surroundings. About 10 minutes away from downtown Fredericksburg.

Sheep, deer, goats, horses, a donkey and friendly people made this holiday away from home unforgettable! My husband, who is usually blasé about vacation properties, was ecstatic about this one. The sheets were soft; the bed and pillows comfortable. The continental breakfast, very good. Thank you to the Estes’ and thank you Orbitz.

It was so peaceful and cozy! The property is only a few minutes from Fredericksburg.

Hi , i have begged Expedia and all the companys that fall under thier umbrella to include the map of our property and our policy page upon confirmation ,like our own reservation system does promptly with an email after reserving , but it doesnt seem to happen. Please , always just call me at our listed number and i will assist you with directions or you can go to our website, where there is a map of the property ,showing you how to get to your house.
