Utilitarian, but misses the mark
Property has a great view and feels secluded, even though you can see two other homes. Located nicely (town very close but was a quiet neighborhood). Sheets and towels were pristine, but kitchen was dirty…crumbs in drawers, floor not deep cleaned. Master mattress was very comfortable, but most furnishings are quite worn and look bad. “Nonstick” pans in kitchen were peeling beyond anything I have ever seen and I would never cook in them. I had to cook in the pots only. Kitchen generally ill-appointed. It served our needs but certainly didn’t feel exciting or luxurious. Will not stay again.

Wake up to an amazing backyard view
We primarily booked for a weekend getaway and it snowed heavily on the evening we reached. When we woke up in the morning the view of the backyard was breathtaking. The cameras cant capture the sunlight hitting the fresh snow and we just spent an hour looking out with a freshly brewed coffee in hand. We are now waiting for summer to repeat the same.

Mountain Views
My wife and I unfortunately had a short stay, but the time we spent in the cabin was nice and relaxing. Great place, clean and quiet. Great views of the mountains and the night sky. Looking forward to the chance to return and spend more time at this cabin and enjoy all that the area has to offer..

The perfect mountain getaway!
What a gorgeous interior and spectacular mountain view!!! The wall of windows brings the outdoors in. At night you can see the multitude of stars from the living room. The owner installed a brand new refrigerator just before we arrived. He was leaving the home as we drove up to the house. He was very friendly and kindly gave us tips on places we should visit while in Fraser. We will definitely stay there again.

Terrible management
The location is great, house is the perfect size for a small family, nice big windows and open kitchen. We've stayed at this property before, but it seems to have been maintained with the least possible effort.
The refrigerator quit working on day 2 of a 5 day vacation. After calling Vacasa, who manages the property, they told me I had to set the fridge settings to the manufacturer recommended setting and wait 12 hrs to see if it magically started working again. I loaded everything into a cooler with ice. After 24 hrs, no word from anyone, so I texted Vacasa and they said they had notified the "local team" and that they would follow up to make sure I was helped. 48 hrs later and still no word. On the final day, 3 full days after calling them, I never received a call or text from any maintenance person. I understand you can't buy a new fridge on a Saturday or Sunday in some places, but at least reach out and make an attempt to apologize, offer to bring an extra cooler, SOMETHING. The dishwasher is also very outdated and a total piece of junk. New appliances would do this place a lot of good. Also, the listing said we had a dumpster at the end of the shared driveway, but we didn't have a dumpster and had to haul trash 5 miles to town. The living room furniture is super uncomfortable and the back patio furniture is poor quality. The management is seriously lacking. They don't offer any help when a problem arises and only respond with promises calling maintenance.

Truly a Cozy Forest Home
We really enjoyed being tucked away in the forest, just 10 minutes from town! It was a "just right" sized home with plenty of beds and a nice living/dining/kitchen area. Great views over the valley, some nice sunsets too. All the amenities you need in a cozy, quiet vacation home.
My only suggestions are: 1. Needs more dishes - silverware especially, but also tupperware, glassware. 2. BBQ was in serious need of a cleaning - actually a safety issue. Luckily we only planned one BBQ meal.

Great relaxing space
Overall this was a great place to stay and it was awesome to disconnect. A couple of things from our stay: the WiFi wasn't working and none of the quick fixes (from internet or owner) were able to repair this problem. This wasn't a terrible issue but not ideal. The house made a lot of settling noises the first night we were there. These sounds were so loud and consistent that we thought there was something at the door. The second night the noises were not as loud, but if our kid had been with us we know they wouldn't have been able to sleep- so we thought we'd include this in the review for families to consider. This is likely a bigger issue in times of the year when temperatures swing more heavily (we were there in July) as the house cools and warms. Once we got used to the noises we were able to enjoy the house some more. This is a great house in a great location.

Great stay in Fraser
We enjoyed our stay. Accommodated 5 of us easily. It gave us bit of privacy as opposed to staying in town, however was an easy drive to activity and hikes. Only rated a 4 because there are a few items that need attention. Broken Patio furniture, broken living room chair, broken bedroom blind and broken board on entry deck. Also kitchen pans and pots were well used and a few more utensils would Be great! This did not ruin our stay but taking care of them would make this property excellent as opposed to just good. I would stay here again!

Great location two miles off main road (Hwy 40) in Fraser! Secluded, etc. and peaceful.
Place was clean and ready to go - slept our family of 6 comfortably; only two potential drawbacks was the Cable/SAT system is lacking in channel selections - NO ESPN! - we survived but certainly during CFB Bowl season this was unexpected. The WiFi isn't strong enough to stream the games so an upgrade there would be nice. A nice plus on the entertainment side was a Blue-Ray player instead of just DVD. Also, if there is a huge snow storm, be aware there is no garage or covered parking option. We knew this going in and nothing against the description. Was not a problem this time but if no 4X4, getting out of driveway onto road could be problematic. But a great place for a ski or summer vacation and the place was a great place to stay.
