I’m extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the Harvey Hotel and feel compelled to share my experience to warn other potential guests.
The problems began immediately in the bathroom. The shower head was leaking constantly, and worse still, the shower itself leaked onto the floor, creating a large puddle every time we used it. This made the bathroom not only unpleasant but also potentially hazardous.
The housekeeping service was practically non-existent. Throughout our entire stay, our room was only cleaned once, and even that was a bare minimum effort. The cleaner simply made the bed and left fresh towels. We had to call down to reception multiple times just to request basic necessities like additional toilet roll and towels, which should have been replenished as standard.
The room itself was in poor condition. The carpet had visible wear and tear patches throughout, giving the entire space a tired, neglected appearance. For the price we paid, this level of maintenance is simply unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will certainly not be returning.
