About this property
Mountain castle, 17th-Century Chateau
Welcome to Joshua Keep!
Joshua Keep is a one-of-a-kind, 17th century inspired château tucked into the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina. After more than eight years of work, we’ve created a unique place where families and friends can get away, spend time together, and enjoy the beauty of the mountains.
With five bedrooms, nine beds, four bathrooms, and a crib, Joshua Keep comfortably accommodates groups of 16 or more. Whether you’re planning a family reunion, a getaway with friends, or a special celebration, there’s plenty of room to gather and relax.
The château is stocked with everything you need for a fun and comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ grills, a Sonos sound system, games, a pool table, a home theater, a hot tub, and a fire pit. We’ve even added a few sweet treats and extra touches to make you feel at home.
There’s plenty to explore nearby, too. Spend your days hiking mountain trails, chasing waterfalls, taking in scenic views, or visiting nearby national parks. The towns of Franklin and Bryson City are just a short drive away, with local shops, restaurants, and plenty of small-town mountain charm.
Whether you’re soaking in the hot tub, gathering around the fire, watching a movie, or heading out for a day of adventure, Joshua Keep is a place to unplug, reconnect, and make memories that last long after your stay.
