The Blue Door is a cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin on a hilltop in Cowee Valley. This cabin is perfect for couples, small families, girls trips, and friends. The home offers a peaceful retreat to relax and unwind. With easy paved access right to the front door, no 4 wheel drive is necessary.
Close to downtown Franklin, gem mining, and hiking.

The Blue Door has a spacious and fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Outside there is a fire pit and BBQ area with a gas grille, Adirondack chairs, and dining table for outdoor dining in the fresh mountain air.

A few things to note:
Dogs are welcome. Cats cannot be hosted due to the owners allergies.
There is a strict no smoking/vaping policy inside the home. If smoking outside please dispose of cigarette/cigar buds.

All dogs must be walked on a leash while outside. Wildlife is present. Please be courteous and pick up after your pets. Potts bags are located in the pet basket.

Our driveway is not large enough to accommodate a boat. 2 cars maximum.

All guests must be listed on reservation at time of booking. Extra guests are not allowed on property unless they are included in the reservation.

Please let us know if pets will be coming with you. The pet fee includes a deep cleaning for future guests. Any unauthorized or unapproved pets brought into the home will result in a $500 fine.

*Inventory is done after each stay. Any missing items, heavily soiled or damaged linen/ towels, clogged toilets, excessive dirtiness or indoor smoking will be charged accordingly. **

There is a ring security camera installed next to the front gate, records audio and video.

We are surrounded by the woods and there are bugs outdoors, please do not leave doors open or bugs will get inside. We have our home treated regularly for pests.
