No complaints! Really friendly and helpful staff at reception. Spotless throughout. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was small but the shower was powerful and hot so ideal. 10 minute stroll into the centre of town. Highly recommended for short stay.
This is a very busy hotel, especially because there is a large company nearby that uses it for events and guests. So this hotel doesn't make much effort to please its guests. The front desk staff take care of business, but it's clear that they don't particularly care about each guest. I had a problem with one of the hotel services, and they brushed it off as if it was my problem and not theirs. At other hotels (even other Novotels) the problem would have been handled with much more care. The only exception is the restaurant staff, who are friendly and helpful, even during the very busy breakfast times. The room was of adequate size, but there was no refrigerator, which is unusual for a Novotel. Also, the closet was very small, with just a few hangers, and to my surprise there were no drawers or closet space to put folded clothes in. The lighting in the room was quite inadequate; there were a few lamps around the room but no general lighting, so the room always had a dreary feel. Perhaps it would be good if another large hotel were to open in town; then this place would have to make some effort to keep its guests rather than take them for granted.
Another one night stay in a clean and friendly Hotel after visiting sites in and around Nuremburg Clean and comfortable room, good breakfast and evening meal with helpful staff. No complaints would stay here again.
We stayed at the Novotel Erlangen only one night. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The reception staff was very pleasant. Check-in and Check-out was painless. The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance from the center of town.
Yet another hotel on this Leger holidays coach tour that is in the middle of nowhere. Miles from the amenities of Nuremberg center. Great hotel, lovely rooms etc, fantastic breakfast but oh the location. In the evening, we went walkabout and turning left from hotel, walking down the main St. for about 10 mins. and turning left we found the amazing Murphy's Law Irish Pub, a lifesaver. See my separate review please. If you are desperate, there is a garage across the road with great coffee, sandwiches and bakery products. You could eat at the hotel but at €19.50 for a burger and fries two of you could eat heartily with beer at Murphy's. Go find 😋
Stayed one night here. It's very clean, modern, and convenient. Easy check-in, comfortable rooms, parking available (for a fee). One side overlooks the street and a gas station that has bright neon lights on all night, so ask for a room on the other side!
Had a very short stay so I did not get to try the fitness facilities or any other food than breakfast. The latter was very good. A fresh and varied selection. We didn't have much time to eat but service was fast. Comfortable bed, very quiet room and good wifi.
We enjoyed the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, especially those on reception. Room was quiet, spacious and clean. We never had breakfast as 17 euros per person is too expensive but went elsewhere in town. Possibly the room lighting could be made brighter for reading.
We booked this as a stop over on our way from London to Prague as it was a long journey. As we paid a very small amount for the hotel we didn't except much. We were very pleasantly surprised. Hotel upgraded our room on arrival. The reception and bar staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help. Will stay here again. No complaints. Room was clean. Car parking v good.
The staff was helpful. The room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel is located an easy walk to the center of town. An enjoyable and restful stay. There was a grocery store close by and an park area for running
